The whitewashed walls and narrow streets of Mykonos Town are the highlights of the island and why cruise ships are frequent visitors to the port harbour. The town is the tourist centre of the island and has all the shops and restaurants waiting to serve the many visitors to the island. Disembarking passengers from the cruise ships flood the small town adding to the vibrancy of the place.
If you are on the island for more than a couple of days, a return boat trip to Delos is certainly worth the effort. As is the fun boat trip connecting the old and new ports, which runs frequently throughout the day. Special mention also for the Mykonos Brewery which offers an entertaining 1 hour guide to beer production at their brewery.

I recently stayed at Mykonos Bay Resort & Villas and had an amazing experience. The resort is a perfect blend of traditional Cycladic architecture and modern luxury, offering breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure every aspect of my stay was perfect.
The private beach with its pristine sands and crystal-clear waters was a highlight, and the resort offered plenty of activities to explore Mykonos. Evenings were spent enjoying the vibrant nightlife, with the comfort of knowing I had a peaceful retreat to return to.

Beautiful city with a personality of its own.
Beautiful city with a personality of its own. Many options to shop, from local souvenirs to luxury brands. Variety of restaurants and bars. Prices are not so high if compared to other cities in Europe (London or Barcelona), considering this is an island. There are options for tours (we took Delos and Rhenia and it was great) and to go to other islands by ferry. The beaches are really nice, specially Elia y Agrari (car rental recommended).
Might feel a little crowded during high season, considering Mykonos town streets are very narrow and the island beaches are not so large.
We came in low season (May) and it was really nice, although the weather is not so sunny or hot (21-22°C in average).
One thing the island is missing is sidewalks; although people walk on the road and it seems drivers are used to that, it is still scary (we stayed in the "New Port" area, called Tourlos).

Peak season will definitely make this town more lively with more shops open. We came during early April, and the beaches are empty (which could be great if you prefer to keep the beach to yourself). The drive around the island is interesting as most roads are narrow with hills. Recommend to go with the full insurance option if it's not expensive as precocious. There are water taxi options to transport to another beaches, and I recommend that over driving if driving is not your forte, and you want to party.
Omg this place is the best! Tasos is not a hotel manager he is a host. I honestly got made to feel like a special guest the whole time I was there. He gave me the best information about mykonos and every place he recommended was also excellent. The location is amazing. Just enough out of town to be quiet and up the slope for the views, but everything is within 15 minutes. Bus station to all the beaches, airport etc just 3 minutes down the road. The pool area is delightful. I honestly can't believe I found this place perfecto 😍
Everything is absolutely amazing. The hotel only has 7 suites so it gives a nice boutique feel. The best part is the fantastic 180* view of the Aegean sea and the outdoor hot tub! The hotel provided complimentary airport transport so it’s a nice touch. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is super close to Mykonos town (Chora) and Megali Ammos beach (only about 10 minutes). Great value for money compared to other hotels in Mykonos. Thank you for giving us a great honeymoon trip!
We had a short but wonderful stay in Mykonos, and Myconian Inn Hotel was truly exceptional in making us feel welcome and comfortable. Big shout out to Chiara who made sure that all our needs were taken care of and gave us useful recommendations on what to do and where to go in Mykonos. The breakfast was a nice touch, and the location can’t be beat. We definitely recommend staying here and will book here again should we find ourselves back in Mykonos. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
The rooms are spacious and comfortable and have a private pool with ample space to lounge outside. Close to the sea so most rooms have a good view. The hotel is run by a family, who are very welcoming and warm. It close to town but you need a car. We got a good rate on booking.com. Fabulous breakfast. Even though they don’t have an in-house cafe, they allowed us to order lunch in from a place they
recommended. The food was great. Would definitely stay here again.
The property is in the best location possible. Right in front of the most iconic Paraportiani church and newly unearthed ruins of a castle. The hotel is very new with everything brand new, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and Irini (hotel manager/owner) goes above and beyond to ensure that her guests are happy, satisfied, and well attended. The property offers 5 star service which coupled with location and decor make it an excellent choice.
The staff were absolutely amazing! They all went above and beyond to meet our needs and keep us happy. We stayed in a family suite in the annex building room 102 and it was a dream. The view from our private pool and hot tub was unbelievable. The only downside is the walk to town is about 8 to 10 minutes and nykonos has no side walks. It's doable but nerve wracking. Get a transport from the hotel if possible as taxis are sparse on mykonos.
Amazing hotel
Great location, 5 minutes from fabrika bus station which takes you to all areas of Mykonos and 10 minute walk into Mykonos town .
The staff are so friendly, they arranged free transfers , the rooms are stunning aswell as the pool which has the most amazing view of Mykonos …we also seen one of the best sunsets of our trip here ! Will definitely return and also recommend to anyone to stay here ! Should be 5 stars
Service was exceptional. Gorgeous pool with a lovely view. Very comfortable rooms with a lovely sea view balcony, perfect for watching the sunset. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had, such delicious choices, champagne with breakfast.
Loved how the hotel were available on WhatsApp for any help needed and they were so helpful with bookings and reservations too. A short walk into the old town, great location.
Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautiful and perfectly located to walk into town without being too touristy and hectic. The staff were phenomenal and we felt so taken care of, especially at breakfast and by the pool! And our room (number 202) felt like the best possible with a hot tub looking out at the sea and sunset. An unbelievably magical anniversary trip and we would love to come back!
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a great location! The rooms are luxury, very clean , spacious with great design and all comforts. The building itself is a piece of art. What makes it even more special is the politeness of the staff. They all went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay and couldn’t do enough for us! We had real 5 star hotel experience!
The location of this place is the best :) The view from the pool is unbelievable - it's magical to watch the sunset from there. The infinity pool is amazing, the rooms are nice and comfortable - we had a nice balcony with a beautiful view from Mykonos.
It's also super easy to walk from the hotel to Mykonos town - less than 10min. And is a nice pleasant walk.
Room clean, comfortable with a great pool and view of the sunset. Breakfast was very good. But the best thing about the hotel was the staff!!! The service was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and would help with anything you needed. Best and most friendly service we had on our trip to Greece!!!!
Hotel Gorgona was perfect in every way. This family owned hotel was attentive to every need. The location was excellent and close to the main town but far enough away to be able to have a quiet and relaxing time. The view was breathtaking from our balcony! Breakfasts were excellent! Highly recommend!
The jr. suite has been completely updated to rival an upscale boutique hotel without the upscale price. The sunset view from the balcony is amazing. However, the best is the owner who ensured we knew all the best places and communicated with us regularly about our needs.
The family that owns the Hotel, Nikos and Alex made our 2 days the best. They gave us all the nice tips and locations to visit. Both were always very helpful and pleasant. It is only about 10 minutes walk to the town. I will be recommending it to friends and family.
The family running the business are very friendly and always ready to help you. Excellent service. In case you don't feel walk to town there is a bus stop at 50meters from the hotel, very convenient. The rooms are spacious and very clean.
Excellent location…right in town. We stayed in a Jr. Suite, and the room was spacious. The hosts were very accommodating. I would definitely reccomend this hotel. And would stay here again in the future.
