We couldn't stay there. It's the worst place we've EVER been. They offered us another room, just as bad. Booking. Com wants to maintain good standards, but has never taken seriously comments about this place. Moreful us for never reading them.

Room was clean and comfortable, and was nicely decorated. Bathroom was also a good size which was a welcome surprise. The two owners were very friendly, professional and helpful. Alnouth is a great village in a beautiful location.

Very friendly staff. Room ready early so could access 2 hours before check in and we were able to leave bags after check out - real bonus. Lots of great tips for local amenities and walks.

Good location, about 15 mins walk from Alnwick castle and gardens, good food in the restaurant, very popular and busy with locals which is a good sign of good food. Comfortable beds and room and facilities in the room tea / coffee and biscuits. Good variety of options for breakfast and for dinner. Its also on a bus route, which is good if you are coming by train to Alnmouth and are getting the connecting bus to Alnwick from the station or from Newcastle.
