Very nice town, nice people.
Very nice town, nice people.
We managed to visit the monastery and in the evening there was a national event so it was very nice.
I think that within the limits of our time we covered the main thing.
I think it was possible to have more fun in the town.

Picturesque old town with two major atractions: the royal church with its exquisite 13th century frescoes and the Curtea de Argeș monastery. The town is a good base for exploring the reagion: Transfagarasan, Vidraru lake, Poenari fortress, Câmpulung Muscel, Hurezi Monastery (UNESCO WORLD heritage), Corbi church built in a clif with frescoes

Really nice town, at the foot of Carpathians and at the beginning of the famous road Transfagarash. There are lots of places to be seen in the town and in the surroundings, offering different experience for all ages and interests. Great place for couple of days stay.

The princely court ruins and St Nicholas church are not to be missed. The centre is great for walking around and the market is a great place to grab a snack. We liked the Municipal museum too. We also enjoyed the Romanian food at La Costica where the locals gather. Curtea de Arges was a great surprise!

We stayed one night (last night in Romania) at this hotel. Set in a quiet neighborhood, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Great private parking. There is a restaurant that operated in the afternoon and evening, but we didn't eat there. We had the free breakfast which was fine. Our room was small but still had the feeling of spaciousness. We took the room with a balcony which looks over the garden and the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Good location. The apartment has 2 balconies ,quite small both but better than none.
Close to some restaurants and small and big shops. Close to few touristic attractions like : around 500 meters to Curtea de Arges Monastery ,around 1 km to Curtea Veche and City Museum.
The location is good to use it as a base for trips around : one hour drive to Olt Valley , 30 min drive to Vidraru Dam and Poenari Ruins and Transfagarasan Road.
The apartment is exceptionally clean, very good quality materials, beautiful design. It had everything we needed - including slippers. The host even left some complimentary bottled water for us. Heating and warm water instantly. The host was available at any time. Very responsive and polite. It will be, definitely, our accomodation for everytime we go to Curtea de Arges.
We definitely enjoyed staying at Old Court, the room itself was lovely and very cozy (especially the bed). The owner was also really friendly and helpful, and the location was great too considering the main boulevard (with loads of restaurants) was quite close. The grand Monastery of Curtea de Arges was also a 20 minute walk away
Excelent location next to the Old Court and the royal church with its frescoes dating back to the 13th century. Also next to 2 good restaurants.,The house is very nicely restored and has all necessary modern facilities. It was very nice to stay in a typical Curtea de Argeș traditional house.
Our flight was delayed and so we got to Curtea de Arges late. But the staff was there to meet us and gave us a wonderful late dinner. Incredibly kind, flexible, open and understanding - regardless of the language barrier! I'd love to spend more than one night here.
We did not have breakfast included, however, the host recommended some good spots in Curtea de Arges where we could eat some delicious traditional food. Overall we had a great time there and would come back for sure
It's a nice hotel with relaxing areas, if refurbished a bit, generally, it would be quite awesome (Tennis court, furniture, lake area, pools). It's relaxing and beautiful around. Staff was really kind and freindly!
Our stay was great. The host was nice and the breakfast delicious. The coffee was good. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom imaculate. For sure we will return to this hotel, once we are in the region.
Very neat and clean modern hotel
Loved it , however, the breakfast was a bit limited, perhaps to do with low occupancy at the time .
Staff are very polite helpful and assistances in planning our touring.
Nice town hotel, it is renovated with an interesting interior design.
The meals was good, room was clean and the stuff was very welcomimg.
The fitness room was nice, everything was new.
Very nice and new property, awesome views to the town, 10-15 min walking to the Curtea de Arges church and 5 more to the center. Owner was very friendly and helpful.
