A city on the move, Warsaw is constantly changing in an effort to rebuild what was lost during World War II. There’s no better example of this than the stunning Old Town Square, where pastel facades sit alongside dome-topped spires.
Starting here is the Royal Route which passes several historic buildings on its way out to Wilanów, where an ornate Royal Palace is set in a huge park that was the retreat of kings since the 17th century. Just as grandiose is the Palace of Culture and Science, Stalin’s gift to Warsaw that still manages to evoke feelings of hatred and love in equal measure. Go up to the terrace for panoramic city views.
Other cultural features are the Warsaw Uprising Museum, considered the best museum in Poland, and traditional bars that still serve down-to-earth food washed down with a shot of vodka - a throwback to the Communist era. Don’t expect to find a seat though – there aren’t any.
Warsaw also has a thriving club scene and more shopping centers than you could throw a stick at. Not that you’d want to, as you’ll be too busy picking up the bargains.
Just outside the city is Warsaw Airport, efficiently linked by public transport to the city’s hotels, guest houses and hostels, available on Booking.com.

I love Warsaw, been many times since 1991 so seen a lot of changes. Great nightlife, culture, shopping, and wide streets. Street cafes and restaurants to watch the world go by. One of the best thing about Warsaw is the transport system, always on time, regular services and very reasonably priced. We dispensed with a car quite a few years ago and haven't found anywhere that that we can't get to on bus, tram, metro or train and no need to worry about finding somewhere to park or impatient drivers 😉. Loved it so much that we bought an apartment on NowySwiat in 2004, sadly sold it now and look forward to exploring more of Poland in the next few years.

Warsaw impressed me - a great selection of eateries.
Warsaw impressed me - a great selection of eateries. Impressive modern and old buildings in the centre. Lots of lovely parks. A reliable and cheap integrated transport service. Increasingly multi-cultural, with many foreign faces visiting and/or living in the capital. It is a bit of a lottery whether shopkeepers and railway ticket office staff are friendly or off-hand; but either way, it is manageable. Old town is great.

I loved walking around Old Town and New Town.
I loved walking around Old Town and New Town. The Polish people I've met have some kind of dry humor, but I loved it! They were very warm and friendly. I loved that it's not too busy, too. Just the right amount of travelers when I visited. I definitely loved the food too! I would recommend Warsaw especially for those who do not like a very busy town/city. Just walking around, and enjoying meeting new people, and trying out the best of their food!

Warsaw is a vibrant city that is constantly underrated.
Warsaw is a vibrant city that is constantly underrated. Having visited all major cities in Poland and many others in Europe, I have always fallen in love with Warszawa and everything it can offer: a new town with a beautiful skyline and an amazing Pałac Kultury i Nauki, a small but pretty old town, a huge quantity of parks (visit Łazienki Królewskie!) and countless options for museums, shopping, eating, drinking and partying.

Warsaw has too much for us to cover in 2 nights.
Warsaw has too much for us to cover in 2 nights. It was more of a transit point on this trip. I really want to go back for longer.
If you like history it's there.
Socialising, there are places for drinking with friends or partying.
Foodies, lots of choice of cuisine.
For the price of a 4 star hotel here you get 5 stars...The hotel is with excellent location - regardless if you are visiting Warsaw for business or leisure - close to the train station, metro, walking distance to the business district and a bit further but still manageable is the city center. The rooms are very spacious and unpackable clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and the pool is on the 43-th floor. The staff always helpful and professional.
PS If you like shopping the Mall is next to the hotel open until 22:00h
The location is very convenient for a one night stay when crossing Poland. Of course the location is not bad even if You want to visit the old town and wanna go there on foot. The next day before leaving we went of foot to visit Lazienki park.?
The room was very small, but it's that chain - if we wanted a bigger room we would have chosen Ibis Styles.
Breakfast was OK - there was to chose from and the coffee was really good.
Thank you to the hotel and all Polish people. My parents received very warm welcome in Poland. They traveled from Ukraine, Chernihiv reg, fleeing war. They stayed at Okecie hotel for 2 nights before flying to UK. My parents were impressed with your hospitality, the room was great and packed breakfast provided. Thank you for Ukrainian discount.
I’ll definitely visit Warsaw by myself very soon.
Everything. This place is awesome. Right in the hub of activity in Warsaw. I will stay there whenever I am in Warsaw. Such a cool place. Accessible to everything. I mean everything. The views from the hostel are awesome. I love this place. Staff was great, free cappuccino in the morning. When I was at hostel it was the best week in Poland. I can't stop talking about the place.
The staff was good, Location was exceptional because its in the middle of the city, There is a Buble Tee Shop and Asian Restaurant downstairs and a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood to choose, the prices in Poland was very cheap compare to Germany where i live. 5 minutes walking to Old Town, 10 minutes to Warsaw Train Central station and Palace of Culture and Science.
Very spacious rooms. Not a genuine 5 star hotel but better than 4 star. Close walk to one of the best parks that I have been to in any city and only 5 minutes by bus to the centre. The buffet breakfast was really good. The staff were polite and helpful.
Good value for the money we paid and will definitely stay again if in Warsaw.
The Bristol is a beautifully restored Warsaw landmark. It’s in a prime location blocks from the old town and close to Warsaw’s other major sites. the spacious rooms are spotless, and the multi lingual staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet is the best I have enjoyed in decades of travels.
in Ukraine in Zaporozhya city , there is a Four points by Sheraton and it's a best hotel i ever had, this time in Poland i wanted to see how looks like it in Poland... Like i expected it was amazing... All Sheratons Hotel are the best in the world, super clean, comfortable, very safe , perfect sleep....
It was great to stay in Warsaw in EXCLUSIVE Aparthotel. The apartment was clean and cozy, we found it comfortable for three persons. The stuff polite and they always was there for help. The location great as well, 17 minutes to Old town and 10 minutes to the new part of the city.
The location of the hotel is very strategic and easy to access to almost every place in the city centre (20mins to old town and 10mins to warsaw centralna), the apartment is surprisingly cute and clean and they also have vending machines and carpet floor which I really like!
The best private place I've ever booked in Poland. Beautiful, well equipped (steamer, coffee maker, basic bathroom products) in a great location, just one tram stop from the Old Town and there's a great bakery on the other side of the street for breakfasts.
Thank you for the good time in Warsaw. Hotel with excellent location for walking to the center of the city for tourists. Accommodation usual, room service also good for this type of hotel. We can advise this hotel for the transit & for the trip to Poland.
The location was incredible. If you are facing the iconic buildings, it is probably the best hotel for this kind of view of the skyline. Walking distance to the old town and to the new town.
The hotels are well situated in the city centrum.
The old town is about a 10 min walk and it's not far from all the nice places in Warsaw.
I recommend this hotel :)
Nice aerea and safe ....close to everything, train station very close to travel around Poland ....Warsaw is a cool romantic place .
A lot of story ...nice people.
Nice hotel close to the center of Warsaw and in walking distance from the old town.
The staff was very helpful.
Breakfast was ok and the beds were comfortable.
I went to this hotel for the 6th time. get service, the location is a winner! every one at the hotel actually speak English (not a common thing in Poland).
