The 5-star Sofitel Athens Airport’is conveniently located 164 feet from Athens International Airport. It offers a spa and an indoor heated pool with views over the airport. I slept so well! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the sheets so nice and cool and crisp. Also loved that there was a shutter to close off the window instead of a curtain. And I loved the rain shower and toiletries. The toilet had its own room separated from the sink and shower, nice.

Quietly located in an agricultural area, 2.5 mi from the center of Markopoulo, Villa Vravrona Tower features a villa with an outdoor pool with a big, well-tended garden and sun terraces. I absolutely *love* Villa Vravrona! I have stayed here twice on trips in and out of Athens, and this is the most beautiful place to spend a peaceful interlude in the midst of travel. Only a 15 minute ride from the airport (with their personally contracted, very professional, reasonably priced drivers), but a whole different world of olive groves, flowers, open hills and sky, like a secret refuge. Rooms are tidy and cute, with delicious breakfast provided, the garden and pool are gorgeous, and so much space to just unwind! Plus, the proprietress Maria is sweet, helpful, communicative, smart, and very friendly, always a pleasure to talk to and someone to really trust. I'll definitely be staying here again!

Gallery Basement Room is located inside Villa Vravrona Tower, 7.5 mi from Athens International Airport and 19 mi from Athens City Center. Beautiful little studio, great communication from the host, a short taxi drive from the airport and a lovely calm vibe.
