Halvard Apartments at Castletown enjoys a location in Castletown, a few steps from Castle Rushen and 14 miles from TT Grandstand. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. Got an upgrade on the reservation, which was greatly appreciated. Plenty of space and very well equiped for self catering with stores easily available. Bathroom facilities excellent. Coffee/tea/snacks supplied . Excellently hosted by William.

Nine Yards Bell Tents at the TT offers accommodations in Castletown, a 11-minute walk from Castle Rushen and 13 miles from TT Grandstand. Everyone was great! Tony, the kitchen, the mates at the clubhouse. This all made for a great travel experience !

What a lovely place to stay , Castletown is a lovely place to stay, The george was really a surprise , excellent staff and lovely rooms , nothing was to much trouble for staff to help with and it’s a breath of fresh air to old fashioned curtesy and great service so thank you very much , we will stay again

Located 2.8 miles from Castle Rushen, Trail Lodge has accommodations with a terrace, barbecue facilities and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Set in a beautiful woodland location. The property was beautifully furnished in a contemporary style. Clean, modern and very well set out. The bedrooms were great and the bunkbeds are certainly large enough for adults, there was even a hairdryer in the room, towels & a bathrobe. I would suggest flip flops or sliders for in the shower as it was also a wet room. The kitchen was well equipped with space in the fridge for all 4 rooms on the upper floor, we did write names on our milk etc to avoid any confusion. The lounge area is great just like being at home with two large sofa's, TV and fire, there were also a few sets of rustic tables for dining. Outside there is a lake and children's playground with a great coffee shop that also served snacks. You would definitely need a car if you stay here but there are plenty of walks. We will definitely come back with family again. The website DOES NOT show how wonderful this little Gem is and I'm very fussy when it comes to staying away:)

Cronk Darragh Cottage in Castletown offers accommodations with free WiFi, 1.1 mi from Castle Rushen. This self-catered vacation home features a garden and barbecue facilities. We really enjoyed staying in this traditional cottage; the kids got a room of their own each & although the ceilings can be a bit low and the beds a bit short for tall folk like me, it's all part of the old cottage charm. Although it is located on a major A-road, there really isn't much traffic going through to Port Erin and with the double-glazed windows I didn't notice the traffic at all. We didn't have time to enjoy sitting in the garden, but it all added to the charm of the place as you walk through it each time you leave & arrive. It was also nice having a dedicated off-road parking space and the wi-fi was reliable (a godsend given we didn't have mobile roaming on the island).
