Mulu D cave homestay is offering accommodations in Mulu. The accommodation offers full-day security and a shared lounge for guests. The hostress of the homestay was extremely friendly and hospitable. We stayed for three nights in a row and booked dinner for three days. The dinners were delicious; Dina is a great chef. She is also very talented in singing and dancing, and she is happy to share her life with us, making our stay in Mulu a very wonderful and memorable experience.

We really liked the friendly home-like feel of this property. The hosts were always very helpful and friendly, and ready to cook up meals when we needed them. This is a homestay, in a place without many hours of electricity, so by staying here you have to be prepared for that. During the day it can get hot so best to plan for trips to the park. Fortunately it is about 5 minute walk to the park entrance, so could hardly be more convenient. And about 10 minute walk to airport.

Rooms are large with aircons and private bathrooms. It is across the river from Marriott, and five minutes by car from the airport and the national park. They will drive you to the national park for a small fee (5 myr per person).

Nestled among the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. Great location, about 4 minutes from Mulu National Park by Shuttle. Room was amazing with views of the forest and river. Staff were helpful and friendly. Couldn't ask for more.
