Located in Vila do Porto village, in Santa Maria Island, the Apartamentos Lisboa offers self-catering apartments with a simple décor and free WiFi access. Pets are allowed on request. We know the island well and are usually staying on board a boat. Due to an injury we needed somewhere in Vila do Porto within easy access to everything and we found it here. A special offer price made it very affordable for 18 nights. We were warmly welcomed by Sylvia and her cat who checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed and we also appreciated the welcome basket of fresh fruit and local produce. The apartment (we were at the back of the building) is comfortable and homely, well equipped, clean and regularly serviced and within very short walking distance of supermarkets and all facilities. Bus stops are close by. We would certainly stay here again.

Well I think I may have found the perfect hotel!! The room, food, decor, location, atmosphere, all spot on! but what really made this place great was the staff, all so kind and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a smile. We are a charity and couldn't have achieved our mission on Santa Maria without the help of the amazing Sophia, an absolute credit to Charming Blue, thank you so much from all the team and crew at The Maiden Factor. Good cooking facilities, including a charcoal BBQ on a large furnished terrace. Very comfortable bed and living room furniture. Greatly appreciated the washing machine, and outside clothes line. We were pleasantly surprised how spectacularly beautiful Santa Maria Island was, and how warm the water was for swimming.

Set in a condominium next to Figueiral-Prainha Nature Reserve of the Santa Maria Island, Azores, Villa Natura is a 2-bedroom house that offers direct access to Praia Formosa. From the moment you arrive there is a feeling of being welcomed. For ever aspect of our stay Luís was there to assist, from restaurant reservations to trail info. Bella made us a welcome basket and homemade treats. For New Years there was champagne! Truly an amazing place in the most beautiful of settings.
