Offering 13 restaurants, cafes and bars and a 24-hour front desk, Kobe Portopia Hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Shimin Hiroba Station on the Port Island Line. The Portopia hotel is on one of the new islands in Kobe and is connected to Sannomiya station via subway train. As such it's a short 15min to downtown. The station is directly next to the hotel and is connected to it by roofed walkway. There is also a regular free shuttle bus from the hotel to Sannomiya station. In the other direction the train goes to Kobe airport and the ferry to Kainsai airport. Although not in downtown it is extremely well located. Since it's on the island there are not that many restaurants around, but the hotel has plenty food options itself. This includes a family mart in the building, which is extremely useful. We had a bigger room and it was very well equipped, with strong internet, a small sitting area and table to enjoy the great views. The views are either of Kobe city or the island and the bay beyond it. One thing to strongly consider is adding breakfast. The main breakfast restaurant is on the 30th floor and offers even better views with a very, very good breakfast buffet. This was definitely a highlight during the stay. Throughout the staff are all very friendly and typically speak English. Overall I would say the Portopia hotel is an exceptionally good option to consider when in the area and I will definitely go again.

Hotel Pearl City Kobe is within 1640 feet from Minami Koen Train Station and the Minami Park. A free 2-way shuttle to JR Sannomiya Train Station and JR Shin-Kobe Train Station is provided. Spacious and well furnished room. Great window view from the 15th floor, where we can see mountain, sea and Railway station simultaneously. Also spacious and beautiful common lobby at the ground floor. I liked the breakfast also. Free shuttle bus service to Shin Kobe was great.

Just a 3-minute walk from Kobe’s Meriken Park, Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel features 4 dining choices. Rooms have free WiFi and a balcony with park or harbor views. Loved the design of the hotel. Like being on a cruise ship. The view from our room was gorgeous. Felt luxurious and special! The rooftop bar was spectacular at night. Staff were warm and welcoming. We initially booked 2 nights here, but after the first night, we decided to book in for a 3rd! We had an executive room and had access to the executive lounge with free drinks and food at certain times. It was amazing value! 100% recommend staying here in an executive room :)

Well set in the Chuo Ward district of Kobe, Toyoko Inn JR Kobe eki Kita guchi is located 1.8 miles from Noevir Stadium Kobe, 2.1 miles from Kobe Center for Overseas Migration and Cultural Interaction... Location was close to station. Staff was very friendly.

Just a 5-minute walk from JR Kobe Train Station, Kobe City Gardens Hotel offers simple rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi. It is an 8-minute drive from Nankinmachi and Meriken Park. The location is very good. The nearest station is just 5 mins walk and there are plenty of restaurants around. The front desk could communicate in English.
