Located in Phonsavan, 5.4 miles from Plain of Jars: Site 1, Phouluang Hotel features views of the city. Very helpful staff (was allowed to use the printer so I could easily unblock my account), good breakfast and very clean. The hotel is almost new.

The Hillside Residence is located in Xieng Khouang Province in Northern Laos. Just one km away from the city center, it offers free parking and peaceful countryside accommodations. The patron was absolutely marvellous! So friendly and always willing to help. The family succeeded to create a cosy atmosphere, bit like a living room at home. Great breakfast and great support to explore the area. We were lucky to celebrate Hmong new year, which was a surprise and a gift.

The room was comfortable and clean, and I love the campfire at the common area very much. The rental motorbikes were also in better condition than some of the bikes I saw elsewhere.
