The apartment was perfectly situated, 5 mins walk from the beach, tavernas, mini market, bakery. It was so peaceful and the view was beautiful. The apartment had everything we needed, was clean and modern and the host was really welcoming and helpful. Finikas is a nice little resort, with a small beach and very easy bus access to lots of other beaches and the main town of Ermoupolis. Highly recommend Galini Apartments.

We were a group of 3 girls, trying to budget, so Smaragdi was perfect for us. Basic kitchen but just what we needed for easy meals. The pool was our favourite part of the property - clean, refreshing and lots of sun loungers. The views from the property are also stunning !!! However, the best service came when we left. I forgot my trainers and we moved to a different island… the hosts were so accommodating and sent them over on the ferry the same day !! I was so grateful and they were quick to respond.

Very lovely hotel, beautifully run and only feet from the water's edge. The host, Despoina, could not have been more helpful or considerate at all times. We had a room over-looking the small harbour which was delightful; very quiet at night, comfortable beds and a cute balcony. The area is pretty quiet at night but there is a good Italian restaurant opposite the beach about 3 minutes walk away. The peacefulness of the area was completely relaxing, a good contrast to other busier islands and also the main town on Syros. Breakfast was fresh, good fruit, cooked eggs, pastries, etc and served well. I would totally recommend for a peaceful stay.

I loved everything about this hotel. We received warm and friendly service from the moment we stepped into the reception area. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony and view. The common areas (pool, restaurant) were gorgeous. There's a convenient path leading from the hotel to the "main street" and beach. There are some little restaurants and shops there. Honestly, this place exceeded my expectations in every way, book it now!

The location of the hotel was perfect, only a two minute walk to the beach and all of the restaurants and cafes in the area. The owners were also so lovely and welcoming I felt very comfortable sitting on my balcony socialising with everyone.

From the very first moment, at the reception desk, we felt that we were in the perfect place. The host is very nice, friendly and helpful in all matters. The property is elegant. Our apartment was comfortable and spacious. The bedroom is quiet and very nice, stylishly decorated. The hotel garden is a place where we spent our evenings listening to music, enjoying Greek delicacies and wine. I highly recommend this hotel. We are already thinking about the next trip to Syros and the stay will definitely be at the Emillia Luxury Hotel.

It's a beautiful place in a beautiful, quiet area. It has everything you need to cook, relax and really feel at home. You can feel the extra effort Dora and her family and staff put into the property to make it comfortable, special, and relaxing. Importantly, you can see the extra measures that are taken for cleanliness. Everyone is genuinely friendly, very personable, and respectful. Don't forget to try the homemade food. I actually planned on cooking, but Dora's pies and salads were what I craved. I generally don't eat capers or onions, but those in the salad were sweet and really delicious. All ingredients local. There's also a beautiful breakfast spread for a very reasonable price with homemade marmalades and fresh ingredients. She also keeps the fridge at reception well stocked with drinks and snacks. I got the seaview room, which was simple and perfect. Hot water all day, if you need it. Good water pressure. Fresh towels and linens. Small tables to eat inside and outside. I think from all the rooms you can hear the waves at night. There are two small beaches about a 1-min walk from the property. One is sandy the other rocky. Both super chill. Bus stop is right in front. WiFi is excellent. I could have videocalls, so if you're thinking of a place to work from for a week or so, this was more than I could imagine. Having a swim on my lunch break was paradise. Most of all, the hospitality. It's just a warm place with such good energy. I'm definitely going to return.
