On this half-day guided tour of Llanquihue and Frutillar, you'll leave Puerto Varas for a chance to discover other cities around it. You'll explore local history, culture, economy and industry along the way.
You'll first stop in Llanquihue to see Lake Llanquihue and the source of the Maullín River. Additionally, you'll learn about salmon farming, forestry and the processing of cured meats, cecinas and pork sausages.
Then, you'll move on to Frutillar to uncover its German roots. While here, you'll walk past colonial houses and gardens, with the option of visiting the Frutillar German Colonial Museum. Further, you'll take in Puntiagudo-Cordón Cenizos and Osorno Volcano. You'll also stop at the Teatro del Lago, home of the Frutillar Musical Weeks.
