You’ll cruise through the river’s calm waters on board a motorized raft and have a chance to admire giant karst formations. In the old fishing village of Xingping Town, you’ll have an opportunity to embark on a sightseeing hike up the Guilin Laozhai Mountain, which offers panoramic views of rolling hills and the river.
You can take a five-minute ferry across the river to visit the opposite side, where you’ll see orchards and vegetable gardens. You can also hike through the Osmanthus Ancient Trail to observe native biodiversity and visit a temple dating back to the Ming Dynasty.
