You will first go to visit Wewrukannala, a sacred Buddhist temple with around 160-feet Buddha statue and Tunnel of Hell. Another Buddhist temple you will visit is Weherahena Poorwarama Rajamaha Viharaya, a temple with tunnels filled with paintings. Later, you will proceed to Mr. Martin Wickramasinghe’s ancestral home and folk museum to learn about his life and works. Finally, you will head to Unawatuna to see the Japanese Peace Pagoda, a lovely shrine with stunning ocean views.
