On this full-day tour, you will visit two important cities in Macedonia and explore their prominent landmarks along with a guide. You’ll first head to Bitola, popular as the city of Councils. Here you’ll get to explore the Heraclea Lyncestis Archaeological site, where you’ll see preserved mosaics from the 5th century. Then you’ll discover historical items and a memorial room dedicated to Kemal Mustafa Ataturk, at the National Museum of Bitola. You’ll have time to stroll on the popular pedestrian street Širok Sokak, where you can stop for lunch or take a coffee break.
Then you will continue to Krusevo city and visit the Memorial House of Tose Proeski. Krusevo has one of the highest altitudes in the country and you’ll have time to explore its mountainous terrain, admire the local architecture, visit local cafes and discover landmarks such as the Makedonium, and Meckin Kamen.
