On this guided walking tour with a Birmingham native, you'll discover some of the Afro-American and civil rights history of the city. You'll learn about the years of segregation as you visit the historic A.G. Gaston Motel that catered to black travelers and see the only theater that allowed mixed audiences.
In Kelly Ingram Park, your guide will show you some of the sculptures that depict the civil rights struggles and the people involved and you'll continue your tour to see the courthouse and one of the city's best black theaters.
