Packed most places into our 4 days. You must book ahead to visit museums etc. loved restaurant nuria on la rambla, best paella. Red and blue hop on off busses are a must to get your bearings. Try to get to cafes balto early as it’s sooo busy. Maritime museum was excellent. Sagrida well that is a must. A lot of museums are closed on a Monday so check before going. Went to a flamenco dance on Sunday night was well worth it.

    We loved our trip.

We loved our trip. The locals were friendly and the atmosphere was fun and calm. We enjoyed delicious tapas and paellas at both big and small places, with good prices. Getting around the city was easy by walking or taking a cheap taxi. Three days is enough to see everything, but families might need more time. Don’t forget to buy tickets online for La Sagrada Familia and book early for drinks or dinner at the Terrace of Sercotel Rosellón, as it gets booked up fast. Will absolutely visit again, we had a great time 🙌

Excellent public transport. Great choice of restaurants. The City Bus Tour Hop On Hop Off service was very useful for finding places and getting an idea of what was near what. Tip - if you want to go to Sagrada Familiar or Parc Guell, you need to book well in advance - we knew about the former but not the latter and found that it was fully booked for the next 2 days.

Our first trip to Barcelona was a memorable one.

Our first trip to Barcelona was a memorable one. The city exceeded our expectations. We found the city to be much more relaxed and inviting than our hometown of NYC. We stayed near the Cathedral of Barcelona so it was a good, central location for exploring the city. The first morning we took a Gaudi themed walking tour that started at Placa Reial and ended at Sagrada Familia (must see!!). It included a couple rides on the subway and was a perfect way to get acclimated to the city. There is so much to see in Barcelona. Take a walking tour or two if you've never been. Then get lost exploring, stopping in little places for food and drinks along the way.

The staffs are supper nice and helpful, we had a great experience there. Room services were available every day, toilet and bathroom were separated and clean. We didn't use breakfast there but overall everything was nice. The Internet connection was good also, but on the last day of our stay, we had some issues with the WIFI connection. We also extended our stay in Barcelona as the hotel was convenient and clean. The connection to the city center, Metro, restaurants, and shopping centers was great 👍

Excellent position of the hotel for sightseeing, in a side street of La Rambla, a minute away from a subway station. Although the hotel is in the quarter Raval and there's street prostitution around the corner, you should not be afraid. Inside the hotel there's a green courtyard, perfect meeting point, when you travel with groups. And an oasis compared with the noisy streets outside. You will have problems to find a better hotel of this quality and this cheap prize in the city centre of Barcelona.

I had a friend visiting Spain for the first time from the USA. The hotel is in the perfect location for us to explore all parts of Barcelona with a 30 minute walk. And, if shopping is what you are looking for, it is right in the heart of the upscale shopping district. The staff was very attentive and took special care to alert us of the Barcelona marathon so we could adjust our arrival plans so we would not be affected by street closures. We loved our stay and can't wait to return.

Excellent hotel, close to all the tourist attractions. 5 minutes walk to the Rocafort metro station. It was nice to be able to rest in the afternoon then continue visiting Barcelona. Location is the strongest point. Apartment was very clean and comfortable for a family of four with little kids. It's not the cheapest option, but in a big city it was worth it to pay to be closer to the city center. Kitchen had all the necessary amenities. Staff was very kind and easy to reach.

I think I fell in love with Barcelona because of the hotel. As you know sometimes the accommodation can turn your experience either positive or negative about any city you visit. Luckily enough, Sercotel caspe was the best choice I have made among the recent hotels I have stayed at in my last trips. I like the location it is safe and within walking distance to everything. 20 minutes walking to city center .I also like the stuff they were nice and helpful.

The hotel is located PERFECTLY at Plaza Catalunya. For anybody arriving in Barcelona by plane is good to know that there is practically taxi-service with the "aero bus" connecting the airport and the square in 30 minutes. Apart from that metro station is infront, but this might be not necessary as you live in the centre of the city centre!
