The staff is very friendly. Service, food, everything is at the level of a 3-star hotel. The hotel is not new, it is of older construction, but everything is clean and tidy. Excellent price-quality ratio.

The variety of food was outstanding. Outside seating was available. The time was adequate and convenient. Self service coffee machine was easy to operate. The staff was friendly and worked hard to keep the breakfast well stocked and clean after guests left the dining area.

The location is great being on the main shopping strip of Biella. The building is old which adds a lot of charm and once inside, the flat is very nicely furnished and very modern. The is quite large and there is ample space for luggage. It's very easy to walk to restaurants and cafes as Via Italia is pretty much the middle of Biella.
Providing inner courtyard views, B&b Il Cortile in Biella offers accommodations, a garden, barbecue facilities, and a shared lounge.

Wow - what a hidden gem of a city. It reminds me of Boulder, Colorado with the magnificent views of the Italian Alps and the wonderful hiking, skiing, mountain biking it affords you. It is a city filled with lots of history with great restaurants, coffee bars, pastry shops and shopping in general. There is plenty to do in the historical area of Biella (which is where I would recommend staying) as walking around is very easy and as long as you find a parking area marked by white paint to define the spaces, it's free. It is now my second time to Biella and I enjoyed it even more than the first time. With a car you can explore the surrounding areas (7 mins puts you into the Oropa area). The architectural is splendid, the people are just amazingly warm and the food wine choices will please the most gourmet of you. Some shout outs Malibu bar (a wonderful 'Cheers' like vibe where the owner knows everyone and you are greeted like a friend), Una Franca restaurant such a wonderfully unique and delicious experience, MASH brewery the beer garden is charming and the beer awesome, Illy Cafe Labaratorio for the best coffee while you watch pastries being made, Matteo Ristorante for a Michelin experience and MAG Gelateria for artisanal gelato that is to die for

Biella was an utter surprise and a serendipitous find.
Biella was an utter surprise and a serendipitous find. It was not one but two "old town centers" -- Piazzo, up on the hill, where the palaces are, and Piano where the old merchants had set up town. A free, self-operated funicular connects the two.
There a beautiful villas throughout the merchant quarters, and delightful restaurants serving local fares at decent prices.
Interesting sites are within 20-30 minutes of driving, including Santuario d'Oropa; at an hour or so away, Valle d'Aosta and its fabulous fortresses and castles.

The stronger touristic point of Biella is the nature, the city center is nice and you can enjoy some restaurants, but besides that it is a city for chilling and going hiking more than exploring monuments and museums.

What a beautiful city and surrounding areas.
What a beautiful city and surrounding areas. So much to see and do, much of it just a short drive away - for instance, seeing the Black Madonna at Oropa, visiting the mediaeval castle in the city, eating the best ice cream I've ever had in the gelaterie next to the tourist office ... Looking forward to coming back and venturing further afield, for instance to the great lakes, only an hour or so's drive away.

This looks like a beautiful hotel on the Booking website. In reality it's pretty bad. The only good thing was the design of the room.
The hotel is located on the 2nd floor of a building that also includes offices and/or homes.
The room looked great, but there is no bar, no foyer, no restaurant, no atmosphere. Well, there is a restaurant, but you have to go out of the front door, walk around the building and then enter the restaurant. You basically renting an apartment. Which is fine, but then please advertise it as such
Luisella and Claudio are a very welcoming owner couple of this loft on the third floor of a well kept house 3 kilometers outside of Biella. The loft is large, very clean and offers an wonderful view from the balcony over the landscape around Biella. A lovely garden surrounds the house and delivers profumes of meditarean flowers. The shower room is large and very clean as well. Breakfast can be adapted to the wishes of the guests.
Spacious clean comfortable room with big bed and 2 chairs. Nice light bright room. Good breakfast choices. Lovely hotel. Good free underground parking. Good location for city exploration.
