The breakfast was delicious, served by the most friendly staff, and enjoyed in beautifully frescoed dining rooms! The staff was extremely warm and welcoming! Hotel Orazio is a wonderful place in the heart of beautiful, historic Venosa! The views from the covered balcony of the Basilicata countryside and bell tower were memorable and relaxing! The room was very clean as well!

Very interesting place with long history and some important historical artefacts. Cosy, calm old town with many silent streets and very noisy, live night centre near the castle with plenty of bars and full of people.
