Sigita, who checked me in, was very sweet, attentive and helpful with information. She noted the option for basic self-catering cottages which you clean yourself have no heating and I could check first if I needed something different (e.g. property offers various options: camping, basic cottages, hotel rooms, full seaside cabins, etc.) Although it was very cold for October, there was plenty of provided bedding (bring your own linen or rent). It was simple but sufficient with a couch, bunkbeds, table, amazingly quick kitchen appliances (supermarket & bakery only 100 m away), patio, and plenty of communal bathrooms that were maintained regularly by a friendly gentleman. For an additional fee, you could access an indoor pool with a steam room, spa treatments, outdoor sauna, bicycle rental, laundry, and various tours including a horse ranch nearby. There is also an outdoor pool and restaurant which opens for breakfast, lunch and buffet dinner. I thought it was excellent to have all these amenities on-site if wanting to stay in a bit more of a quieter part of the island but best to have a vehicle or rent a bike as local transport varies on seasonal schedule if exploring.

Located on Rømø Island, 10 minutes’ walk from Rømø’s harbor, this resort offers modern apartments. On-site activities include a wellness center, golf course and bowling alley. Free WiFi is available.

We loved our stay as a family of 5 with a toddler and preteens. We were a bit prudent of all the comments we read about the bad places to eat etc. but everything was fine. The restaurant provides fair enough food morning and evening, and there are many little shops around that provide all you need for your own cooking. In addition they are few restaurants on the island as well. Of course it is not fine dining, but if you want that, you book a 5* hotel. The view was super nice, and most of all it was quiet around! Access to the beaches was also super easy and as a bonus the pool is also nice for a swim. Kids tried the entertainment of the bowling and enjoyed it as well. The bungalow as well was fine, it had all stuff needed and it was well cleaned. We don't understand either people acting surprised about the charges for utilities as it is mentioned all over the place - we paid like 50 Euro for 4 days.

    It was a little creepy. Few guests and no staff! The whole building smells like an old church. The notices in the rooms seem to be very old. These were apparently painted by (guets)-children and the hotel informations on the notes was partly wrong. It said breakfast is in the dining room between 8am and 10am. The fact is: the dining room has been out of order for a long time. However, the location is great, so we were not dissatisfied. But the entire hotel is unfortunately quite old.

    Excellent break for us, as soon as we arrive in Romo island with the light of the place and this amazing hotel, all of our city stress are gone, everything are perfect, staff, room, kitchen space and the breakfasts are really delicious. We will be back for sur.

    Friendly / helpfull staff. Thanks for the room-switch! Trampoline for children. Kitchen / dining room. Free parking close to the hotel. A car is needed to explore the island (I think). Nice breakfast. Very quiet. We saw a deer twice.
