Macher is a small village but you can find there everything...
Macher is a small village but you can find there everything you need: supeermarket, restaurants, gas station It is very peaceful place, perfect to relax. Location is very convinient: in the middle of the island- 30 minutes drive to Playa Papagayo or to Mirador del Rio. Whenether you want to go you will get there quickly.RafalPoland - Scored 1010
A lovely town with everything you need accessible.
A lovely town with everything you need accessible. It was more remote and away from the tourist places like Puerta del Carmen and Playa Blanca. There is a beautiful marine with restaurants nearby, which I would highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again.

Macher is well placed if you want some peace and quiet but...
Macher is well placed if you want some peace and quiet but handy for visiting Puerto del Carmen & Puerto Calero as well being central for trips to the rest of the island. About a mile away is the lovely coast path between the two above resorts which are also linked by a regular boat service. There is also a lovely local tapas bar in the next village.

The room was beautifully furnished - it’s even nicer than on the pictures. You will need a car, as there is so much to do on the island, and this hotel is close to everything. Marco is an amazing host who knows the island of Lanzarote very well and can make great recommendations. His passion to keep Lanzarote and its environment protected is also extended to his beautiful place. Breakfasts with local produce were fantastic and so was the day we had dinner, all km 0. Outdoor area and pool were excellent and well used by us all. Great location with stunning views. It really is as lovely as it looks in the photos. Super close to Puerto del Carmen with a supermarket in walking distance. Overall a fabulous place to stay.
