The view out to the harbour, from the lounge, is just incredible, as was the location. The Penthouse was also very clean, very comfortable and had everything was needed. It was just perfect and we’ve already booked to return! Thank you for helping to make my best friends 50th so memorable and fantastic 🙏🏾

We stayed here for two nights during our recent Cornwall road trip. Wow, we loved it and what a stunning view of the harbour right from our bedroom window. Terry was a superb host, very friendly and cooked us an amazing breakfast both mornings. The room was great and the bed was the most comfortable one of our whole trip. Thoroughly recommended, if you stay here you won’t be disappointed. Many thanks.
This award-winning boutique guest house is situated in the heart of the Cornish countryside, just 3 miles from the beach.

We loved the individual, quirky feel to the place which was full of personality! Breakfast round the big table chatting with the other guests was fun. Mike and Janie were such brilliant and lovely hosts with lots of recommendations and a real passion for their business. The garden was lovely and a relaxing place to spend a few hours with a cuppa!
Although the room we stayed in was very much part of the main house, it felt very private.
Just loved our stay there and could have chatted to Janie all morning!

On arrival, after a long drive and arriving at about 5pm, we were given the keys to a room, only to find it had not been made up, towels on floor, bed rumpled etc. We were given the choice of sitting in the bar waiting for the room to be made up or moving to another room. We chose the latter. In the morning we had to shower in tepid water as there was no hot. The Manager offered us the use of another room to get hot water, but it was too late. We were told on our departure that he would let his superior know of our problems and she would be in touch with us, we have heard nothing.
We just had breakfast, lukewarm coffee, everything else was okay.
We have stayed at The White Hart at least 6 times in the past, watching standards drop, we won't be staying there again

Lovely village, completely spoilt by a very small minority of vile residents who ignored visitors, were very negative and seemed resentful of ALL visitors.
We would recommend a day visit, but would not stay here again.

I had a one night stay in Mevagissey whilst walking the South West Coast Path and found it to be a nice, clean and picturesque location. Absolutely beautiful scenery in the area and in easy reach of a variety of other popular locations.

One of the nicer small harbours in Cornwall.
One of the nicer small harbours in Cornwall. Plenty of eating places and two small museums of local interest. Plenty of parking spaces but be aware not a place to drive through due to the narrowness of the streets which require plenty of patience.

Mevagissey is a picturesque fishing village by the sea. There are good restaurants, pubs and cafes. I had good meals at Sharksfin, Alvorada, Salamander and Fountains Inn. Nearby there are other attractions such as the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Charlestown.

The town was quaint and full of history and character, very narrow streets not good for driving. The Pubs (Ship Inn) was excellent including the food if a bit pricey. The restaurants were excellent (Salamander and Polkirk One )Not cheap but good value for money. Very hilly trying to get out of town centre if you're old or athsmatic.Don't book a hotel up Polkirk Hill it's very steep.

The location was a short walk into Mevagissey which was perfect. The room was very clean, decorated lovely, had a beautiful view and the facilities were fabulous. There was so much choice for breakfast and it was all freshly cooked and very tasty. The hosts were so welcoming and made it feel like a home from home. We absolutely loved our stay here, thank you so much, we would highly recommend and definitely would stay again!
We loved our stay! The hosts were so accommodating and could not have been more helpful. The room was as described and perfect for two adults. The hotel itself was a 5 min walk from Mevagissey centre but still really quiet and peaceful. We would love to go back :)
Breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. Location peaceful and relaxing with a great view of the nearby beach. Love the patio outside our room. Short drive and walking distance from the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey.
