Rooms above a good pub with great staff. No en-suite but a perfectly nice shared bathroom that was clean. Very central so ideal for Ulverston.
You can hear the pub below of course but it closes about 11-11.30pm and doesn’t open early so no issues.

Ulverston was a lovely little town. It had everything you needed, including nice pubs and restaurants and the locals could not be more friendly. It was the perfect landing spot to go and explore some of the Lake District before heading back down South.

Very friendly people who greeted me as I walked around and/or asked for help. We were there on the night of lanterns and watched it from the living room. A strong showing of community participation. I loved it.

A quaint ,typical Lake District town.
A quaint ,typical Lake District town. Windy streets with nooks and crannies and something to discover on every corner. An awesome selection of eateries and cafes. Some like "4 penny cafe" were quirky ,friendly and the food to die for. The scenery was beautiful. The town is clean and easy to navigate. It has a Thursday market. And of course ,the Laurel and Hardy museum.

However seagulls so loud at night it was difficult to sleep, and traffic on main through road extremely busy at all times.

It was wasy to collect the keys as stated via email and I was grateful for the hosts to answer to my WhatsApp messages late in the evening as well.
The location of the accommodation is very good, withtin few minutes walk from the main town centre with various facilities such as eat in, takeway and shopping experience. And I have to say I was fortunate enough to get a 4 bedroom house at one of the busiest period of the year.
Our stay at this accommodation was enjoyable, largely due to its wonderful central location. It's ideally situated for exploring both the Lake District and Ulverston, with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Additionally, the spacious cottage came equipped with many conveniences.
Beautiful apartment with everything that you could ever need for a stay in the Lake District! Easy parking directly outside and very spacious and comfortable!
