The cleanliness of the town, beaches and public facilities.

The cleanliness of the town, beaches and public facilities. The beaches were superb with good water quality, the RNLI service covered the length of the beach , also the observing the sea by boat. Plenty of choice for food , family and dog friendly.

The beach at Woolacombe is huge.

The beach at Woolacombe is huge. Even when busy you can find a quiet spot if you want. There is soft sand, water sports, lovely scenery. There are also cafes, toilets, shops and restaurants/pubs right near the beach. Plenty of parking. We had a go at the crazy golf and one of our party went horse riding which is just 5 mins up the road.

The beaches are fabulous in Woolacombe, very sandy and flat.

The beaches are fabulous in Woolacombe, very sandy and flat. It's a huge surfing place so there's always plenty of surfers about. The amenities in the town are great, plenty of places to eat and get an ice cream, and touristy shops too to get your postcards and gifts from!

As a family, we love Woolacombe and have visited many times.

As a family, we love Woolacombe and have visited many times. Our main reason is the fantastic beach and to go surfing. Everything is so clean and well maintained; the facilities are easily accessed, and everyone is very friendly. There are plenty of places to eat, whether it's lite bites, ice creams, waffles or a full meal, and we found a gluten-free diet was well catered for. Topping up on with groceries locally is easy and the bigger supermarkets in Ilfracombe are only a 10 minute drive away.

    Beautiful clean beach.

Beautiful clean beach. Local amenities not too bad and remained clean even at the end of the day. Very few food or take away options in town so long waits for food - 40 mins or more wait for fish n chips from local take away or over an hour wait for pizza truck.

Great location. Great space. Great garden/patio area. It's really spacious. Provides a lot of china, cutlery, and glassware. Super comfy beds and above average bathrooms/toilet facilities. A lot of effort has gone into the decor. Amazing views! Lots of space for 2-3 cars. You get so much for the price!
