This hotel was very accommodating. We were traveling as a family and they got us two rooms next to each other. The hotel was also very close to the main tourist areas. Unfortunately the suite smelled like cigarettes even though it is a nonsmoking hotel. Unsure if its the guests or the apartments next to the hotel.

Funky design in the reception area, great receptionist, very friendly staff. We needed a room for the night at the last minute and hotel Slisko was there for us, including with free parking and breakfast. The room was basic, but large, and served its purpose.

The only capital city in the world with a ski world cup race, Zagreb sits over 394 ft above sea level and has typical Central European architecture of cobblestone streets, impressive public buildings and well laid out landscaped grounds.
Built around two medieval settlements with the Upper Town (Gornji Grad) being its core, the city skilfully combines modern attractions with well-established favorites. Start your day at the Museum of Contemporary Art, then make a stop at the Zagreb Cathedral or make a wish at the Old Town Gate. The locals say it will be granted!
For a more relaxing time, Zagreb has two lakes - Jarun and Bundek - both offering recreational facilities and hosting festivals and events. After having fun in the sun, you might want to hit the shopping at the colorful markets and small boutiques selling local crystal, ceramics and cravats.
To get a different perspective on the city, climb Medvenica, a mountain over 3280 ft tall overlooking Zagreb, and admire the views while sipping famous Croatian wine. And while you’re there, don’t forget to visit the Medvedgrad fortress.
Zagreb Airport is just 11 miles and a short bus ride from the city. Whether you’re looking for an elegant hotel, classic apartment or cozy hostel, Booking.com has about 80 accommodations options for you to choose from!
We spent 6 days in and out of Zagreb. Staying in old town, both Upper and lower town on 2 visits. Sljeme a 1100 meter mountain just 12kms from city center was a fabulous day out for a short or long hike with cafes, cable cars and also a bus n tram connection to the city square. Though a lot of repair works of old buildings goes on due to an earthquake many years ago, the place is beautiful and has maintained its character back in time. K n K the bohemian Bar owned by the famous writer Zvonimir Milcec is a great escape from the humdrum of modern bars and takes u back to nostalgia. El Greco serves up your local Gyros n Salates, while Bombay Grill serves up Indian Cuisine on Tkalcica street. The town square has a local market with all the local produce from Croatia from Walnuts, cherrys, nectarines, water melons, different variety of local cheese, liquers, breads and handicrafts. The local people are welcoming n warm .

The city is all under construction. Not much to see there. I did a free tour and it was super interesting, but otherwise, you will not know what to do there. I would avoid going to Zagreb again or just going for half a day for taking back a plane is enough.

Public transport is fantastic in Zagreb!
Public transport is fantastic in Zagreb! Trams and buses travelling frequently with well sign posted stops. I would suggest downloading maps.me and using that to help get around the city. It works off line & you can select public transport to get places. It then tells you which tram to take, when to get off & where to swap lines, if applicable.
The city itself was clean and quite pretty actually. There isn't a lot to see in the city centre, unless you are an arts fan. There are museums and art galleries on just about every second corner!
We spent a full day in Zagreb catching various trams around, but one day was enough.

Two nights, one full day was enough to give us a decent overview into the city and it's history. We took a 2 hour 'free' ( tip well earned) walking tour which we found very useful and insightful. The city is relatively small so walking around was easy.
Avoid the Museum of Hangovers. Full of nonsense and overpriced.

Loved Zagreb and hopefully we will be back again in the future. The locals we met were very friendly and generous. There was so much to do and see in the city with many interesting and varied museums, some of which were great fun and others interesting from a historical perspective. Also the shops, the cafes and the markets were a very enjoyable experience !!!

We booked Presidental suite with sauna and We enjoyed this place very much. Money well worth it
Better than most of 5 star hotel rooms if some couple wants to have nice place to stay.
Free Private Parking was extra extra bonus for who rented a car , given that location is also the best that you wont need to drive at all to explore the city center.
The hotel has the best location: close to the tram stop, the famous funicular, the central square, all the museums, the botanical garden, etc. I really liked the extreme responsiveness of the staff, I have not met better anywhere yet. Also a good breakfast, quite varied and filling. The room has a huge bathroom. Cleaning is done every day.
Everything was perfect!
The hotel was the best possible choice for our wedding anniversary. Friendly staff, comfortable room, amazing rooftop pool, and delicious food – absolutely flawless.
Truly a 5-star experience. Highly recommended!
Good location for the ones who travel by car, a few tram stops away from city center and lots of free parking places in front of the hotel. Staff is very friendly and rooms are big enough and clean.
There are alos a restaurant and bar.
I prefer this hotel during my stays in Zagreb. The best location close to city centre, and big advantage is the parking lot. I like the rooms. Breakfast is also very rich and of a good qulity.
