The property is in a beautiful place on the sea front amongst a fishing community. It is a short walk to the pier and other beautiful beaches. We ended up extending our stay twice because we loved it so much! The included breakfast is amazing with so much choice and the staff are so wonderful and kind. We saw the Dugong from the bungalow every day!!! Maybe we were lucky but maybe he also loves Sea View Bungalow!

The owner of this stay was so beyond kind and accommodating to me. I unfortunately was ate up by sand flies before arriving on Koh Muk and she immediately was ready with open arms to help me get medical attention and help me with transportation. The hospitality was astounding. The place itself was so cozy and comfortable. Having it situated right on the water was so nice and tranquil. She provided free water, coffee, and crackers for guests which was awesome. The spot is conveniently located with a restaurant and laundry drop off right next door. At the end of my trip she helped me move to my next spot which I was so grateful for. I would totally recommend this stay, you won’t be disappointed!
Great island with the stunning Charlie beach. One of the top in Thailand from my 2 month travel around. Definitely underrated. Can be uncomfortable in the evenings when jelly fish appear. But 10 starts for the morning time. Also nice food done by local on theirs small restaurants business on the beach. An relaxing place to be.

We loved how relaxed the island was.
We loved how relaxed the island was. The locals were super friendly (especially the children who said hello and good morning whenever we went past). It is very quiet compared to other Thai islands such as Koh Lipe / Koh Phi Phi so be prepared for early nights rather than late night partying.

Charlie’s beach was our favourite.
Charlie’s beach was our favourite. You could sit on the loungers and umbrellas for free although the beer cocktails and Pad Thai were too good to decline.
You get around the island in tuk tuks which cost 50baht each no matter what the distance.
The Home Restaurant, Arunee (fantastic cook) and Manat run this lovely restaurant. One night we had barracuda for dinner which was delicious.
We were lucky one evening to see turtles by the pier

Sivalai Resort is there too on a beautiful beach.
A must is a visit to Emerald cave and a day trip to Koh Kradan.
Loved Sunset or (Charlie Beach)
Overall I would strongly recommend Koh Mook island.
Probably the best resort in Koh Mook. It's close to Charlie Beach which is the only proper beach in the island. The bungalow has everything you need, little fridge, kettle, AC, comfy bed. The staff is SUPER NICE and the owner tries her best to communicate with guests in English. Whatever you need - just ask her patiently and she will provide it. Bungalows have little cute porches where you can chill out surrounded by trees and flowers. There's also a swimming pool and mini market right next to the resort.
The resort just excellent. It is located at the best spot of the islands, very beautiful. It's not far from city which you can walk to find local, tasty foods. They provide everything I need.
I booked beachfront bungalow and not disappointed by that, the view's just stunning even I traveled during low season.
By the time I was there, the resort is under partially renovation but they managed well enough so that's not bother me at all.
The staffs are very helpful and have a good vibe.
Huge room, clean and modern, can't fault the level of comfort. Food was great, cooked by the owners, 10 minute walk to town and pier, they pick you and your luggage up from the ferry and drop you off after. Great value place to stay. Getting around in Thailand is always easy so location was fine. On the trail to the viewpoint hike. Saw hornbills in the trees. Some of the best coffee I've had, made on the spot from beans...so good.
Rinna Resort has by far the best location on the island. It is located on a mountain near the pier with a beautiful view.
In addition, the owners are the nicest people we met during our trip through Thailand.
The day we had to leave we had to get up early and the owner came to us in the evening to ask what we wanted for breakfast so that it was ready early in the morning.
I highly recommend this place!!
The property manager pretends to not find our booking that was made through booking .com
He lied to us by saying that the hotel is full and can’t accommodate us ( even our reservation was paid and valid)
After contacting booking.com, he finally found our booking by magic and he pretended that the booking wasn’t paid to him
Firstly Koh Muk is a beautiful island, Mook Montra is a lovely quiet bunch of bungalows run by lovely owners and staff. We were brought the most gorgeous little doughnuts and vanilla sauce as a welcome on our first morning wake up, with a cup of coffee it was the best way to start a day in paradise
Excellent place to stay on Mook. Staff is amazing, speaks good english. Short walk to the beach. Comfy bungalows. Definitely recommend. All prices are high on these remote islands compared to the rest of Thailand, but its worth it. Very relaxing time on Koh Mook
The staff and property are amazing. Koh Mook is definitely worth a visit when exploring Thailand. The hotel staff work together to make your stay perfect. From breakfast, recommending torus and transporting you around the island….perfect!
Great staff, the room was clean, the resort was very near the beach and the town, quiet location and beautiful garden, and the daily wonderful plate of fruits offered to the guests made the stay even more enjoyable!
Because this place is not walking distance to town where most bars/restaurants are, it would be great if the resort could make lunch and dinners available (only breakfast is available) as well as drinks.
The staff were super friendly and helpful at Smile Resort, there was a little corner store that was attached to the resort which was really nice to have near by for beers or ice cream on our deck :)
Room in front of the sea very comfortable with AC and perfect view.
Easy to walk to the beach and center within 20min.
Resort provides food and drinks on site
Very quiet and beautiful place.
Everything! The room, the service, the staff, the environment. Tu, Lisa and Ann are amazing, they make everything easy and they are very nice. If you come to Koh Muk, you must stay here!
The staff was so kind and helpful, the private room was very cozy and the breakfast was very good (9 different sets to choose from at restaurant in front of the hostel).
Bungalows were fine as well as the location. Great price.
It's possible to rent a scooter at the hotel to explore the beautiful island.
Breakfast was good
