They did a nice job of making an older room look and feel nice. The heating was great and the beds were comfortable. Having a fridge and microwave was useful. The cleaning staff and manager were very kind and helpful. It's also great that it is pet friendly, and I suggest asking what the fee is ahead of booking. Overall, the location is good and if you plan on being out most of the day, it's a nice little place to crash.

    The cabin was clean, had all accessories, great updated kitchen and bathrooms and had a great modern feel. Also had a large back patio and the cabin is in a quiet residential area amongst the trees. We loved the cabin and would stay here again.

    Property is in a good location and within walking distance to excellent restaurants. Cabins were very clean and property was very well kept. Gorgeous grounds. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

    Location is right on the lake. Restaurant and bar are lively fun places to hang out. Water sports are offered on the property. There is a place to tie up your own boat at the dock. Rooms are not fancy, but they are spacious enough. You can't beat the pricing for the room. We have a cabin up the hill. We stay at Sunnyside when our place is rented out.

    The Sunnyside is a wonderful place to stay at ! Perfectly situated on the west side of Lake Tahoe in proximity with Tahoe city and the beautiful beaches of the east side . The rooms are nice and well equipped . The breakfast is very nice and largely above average . Plus, you can enjoy the view on the lake while having it , marvelous ! 😎 Definitely on of the best lodges you can stay at in Lake Tahoe 👌🏻

    Very spacious house for a large group, located near the lake, has many cool decorations. Well maintained and clean. Great host. Jacuzzi, bbq, great terrace, fireplace, very large and convenient kitchen. I really liked the house! Thank you!

    High Sierra was a very comfortable place to stay in Lake Tahoe. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, the living space was open and the hot tub was great fun to hang out in.

    The hosts were very kind and willing to go the extra mile and gave plenty of accurate and thoughtful recommendations. Very charming setup, especially during the holiday season. Well insulated and heated cottages with ample of space, good beds, pillows and nice bathrooms. Very close to Lake Tahoe (walking distance).

    They left a lot of cute treats in one of the cabinets which was so nice! The fireplace also worked great. Location was great although the HOA pictures of the dock on the lake were misleading -- you can't walk to the lake from the house, it's too far and the roads are too icy this time of year!

    I'm pretty picky when I pick hotels and cabins. When I'm in a forest I always go for whatever gives me the most cottage core vibe and the ratings also said about great breakfest quality so we picked this. It's more expensive than I usually go for but the quality that came with it made everything sooooo worth it. The moment I pulled up day one I knew I made a good choice. And the breakfest is homemade every day and is different each day!!! I recommend this place to any and everyone. It will be worth your time and money ❤️❤️❤️
