Check in was very easy and the room was much bigger than expected. The room was very comfortable with big windows, a great bathroom, and plenty of space. The breakfast was very good with good hours as well. I reported the wifi was not working upon check in and someone was fixing it within an hour which is great service.

The Kolpinghaus Hostel enjoys a quiet location next to the Salzach River, a 15-minute bus ride from Salzburg’s Old Town and a 15-minute walk from the Main Train Station. Welcoming, clean, bright, airy and comfortable accommodation. We loved our stay at Kolpinghaus! The quadruple room was big, had a tv and an en-suite shower room. Sheets and towels were spotless white and clean. We all really enjoyed the lovely views from our third floor spacious room. There didn’t seem to be anyone else on our corridor so it was really quiet and the airy rooms felt comfortably cool too. Breakfast was first class in a similarly clean bright beautiful canteen restaurant with outdoor seating area. All round a fabulous place to stay.
