Situated in Tokyo and with Akabane Park reachable within 200 metres, Akabane Holic Hotel features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. We stayed at this hotel twice during our trip - on the 8th and 4th floor. The room was very clean. I especially liked the floor-to-ceiling window in front of the washbasin - it’s very cool to wake up and brush your teeth with a view of the city. In addition to cleanliness, I would also like to note the soundproofing - we never heard our neighbors. The bed is comfortable, the shower products are high quality, and the hotel also provides a women's bath access, but we did not use it. The lighting in the room is also very pleasant, and you can connect to the TV using your phone and stream YouTube or Netflix. The hotel's location is perfect, a 1-minute walk from the station! Lawson, Family Mart, and 7-Eleven convenience stores, as well as Don Quijote, are also located near the hotel. I also liked that the hotel has a laundry room where you can wash and dry your clothes. The staff is very responsive!

Friendly staff, lots of amenities, close to transport, VERY CLEAN. In a good convenient area! (super close to tourist areas such as Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ikebukuro) Wifi was easy to access! And considering how close the station was, we didn’t hear anything! Towels replaced whenever we wanted which we loved! Room was cleaned every couple of days which was a bonus!

This hotel is lcated about a three minute walk from Akabane Station, 2 minutes from a Family Mart and 5 minutes from a 7 Eleven. Its very clean and check in and check out was very easy. The staff were really nice and everything was very organised. Great hotel for the price. We stayed in a room with a large double bed (two adults and a ten year old) and found we had plenty of room to sleep (at first we were a little worried we would be cramped in the one bed).

Keep in mind that it was my first time in Japan, and I don't travel often to begin with so this review is coming from an inexperienced traveler. I thought this place was great to stay in. The location isn't too far from the Akabane Station (it's about a 10 minute walk), but if you have a lot of luggage it might be a little bit inconvenient. I only stayed for a week and just had a backpack and a carry on so it was fine. The front desk staff was really nice, they do speak some English so checking in and out was simple. If you're staying for an extended period of time they let you select your cleaning days (cleaning happens from 10am-3pm) and then they explain to you that your new towels will be hung on your door daily. The location is convenient because right outside of the hotel there's a cool area with a bunch of places to eat and drink as well as a Family Mart that's right across the street. The best part was that the 7Eleven around the corner has a 7bank ATM (I think all of them do), that accepts VISA as well as most other credit cards so if you forget to do the currency exchange at the airport like I did you can still get yen here. The facility is very clean and the elevator is fast. I stayed in a smoking room and never noticed any weird smells or anything, the room also comes with a nice AC unit and air freshener if you're concerned about that. The bathroom was perfect for me, but if you're taller than like 5'10" I can see how it would feel a little bit cramped. For the price it was amazing and the cleaning crew cleans the room and the bathroom really well.

Featuring free WiFi and a hot tub, Mokkoan offers accommodation in Kita Ward, Tokyo. Private parking is available on site. Every room comes with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. In 28 years in Japan, I think this was the best place I’ve ever stayed. I was there for 3 nights. Mr. and Mrs. Ito were incredibly kind. They thought of every single detail, going far beyond what I expected. It was a wonderful experience and I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed and appreciated it. I would give them a score of 100 if I could.

赤羽Japanese-Style private Villa & Bike has a balcony and is situated in Tokyo, within just 600 metres of Shizen Freai Johokan Museum and 500 metres of Shimizuzaka Park. The house was one of the biggest house I've ever been to in Japan. The rooms can fit 4 adults mostly. The bicycles provided by the host were a great help. The host was also very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I had great experience living here. Will sure to come back and stay here if I were to go to Japan again. The house is 3 storey, those who have problems with stairs should be cautious. Other than that, the ground was flat all the way from the house to the train station.
