The moment we entered the room, we smelled something unusual-a scent of an old room; it was not a refreshing smell. We informed the reception, and later they brought a humidifier. The curtains need to be cleaned; you can see the dust as it rolled from one side to the other. We had a short 3 days in Dubai and this was long enough. We went for a dinner tour on a yacht and this was fantastic and very reasonably priced. We also booked a tour to the desert to ride camels, 4x4 sand dune driving and dune surfing. There are so many great places to see, invest in, and enjoy. We loved that Dubai can be as lively or as laid-back as you want it to be. We travelled as a mixed-age group and met up with family who live there, which made it even more special. We packed in loads of activities, and the highlight was definitely the boat cruise and helicopter ride—both planned as a surprise for a special birthday. Such an unforgettable experience! Getting around was so easy with Uber and taxis, which are really affordable. And there’s something for every budget—meals and drinks range from super affordable to high-end, so you can choose what suits you.
