That's interesting, as tourist you should be prepared financially to visit Dubai. I enjoyed my stay there. As a muslim I had no issue for my prayers, mosques are almost everywhere, halal food, easy travelling and safari was nice. However, in markets when I was paying by debit or credit card some merchants would impose additional charges and some would accept without any additional charges.
