Magical. We toured “Old Dubai” around the Heritage Hotel and Souk areas. The tour guide explained the history of the UAE and how traditional houses were built — including beautiful stories about what the Kings did for the people. It was so educational and made us fall in love with Dubai even more. Favorite spots: Definitely Al Fahidi Historical District and the souks — full of charm and character. Also, the Marina area — both day and night! During the day, we loved having late brunch while watching the stunning Marina beach views from the Bluewaters side. So many shops around Bluewaters, plus Ain Dubai is right there — definitely a #BucketList experience. One of our favorite moments was boarding a Super Yacht Night Cruise — sailing past the Palm and Atlantis with a DJ and food onboard. Truly magical. Where we ate: On Bluewaters, we ate at The Pod — it feels like you're inside one of the Ferris wheel pods! Super cute interior and a fantastic view of Marina Beach. They serve breakfast until around 14:30 for just AED 45 (with unlimited coffee or tea). Also perfect for a brunch + laptop session since they have plugs and free Wi-Fi! Then we headed to L’ETO Cafe inside the Bluewaters mall — such a cozy and dreamy interior. Great for working quietly, and they serve Hojicha for fellow Japanese tea lovers! To wind down the evening, we stopped by Crape and Toast, a cozy beachside spot along Marina, facing Bluewaters. We just sat by the beach, eating crepes and soaking in the gorgeous nighttime view — peaceful and perfect. Getting around: We recommend using the Careem app for taxis. Super convenient and reliable. Activities: We used the Klook app to book activities at discounted prices — highly recommend! I liked seeing the different parts of Dubai, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, but Dubai was definitely a highlight for me during this trip to UAE. As someone who isn't very much into shopping, I enjoyed Dubai Mall a lot, and part of that is because of the fantastic aquarium they have at the mall. Clean, friendly people, although the taxis could do better with their rayes. It's a beautiful city. I ate buffet at the hotel and also bought stuff from various outlets, particularly day to day close to ADCB station. The train service was beautiful, hectic during morning rush hour. My Favorite Experience in Dubai One of my favorite places in Dubai is the Museum of the Future—a stunning blend of innovation and design that really lives up to the hype. When it comes to food, I loved exploring the vibrant dining options in Al Rigga. The variety and flavor there are amazing! Getting around Dubai is quite easy once you understand how the Metro system works. It's efficient, reliable, and definitely the most budget-friendly option for travelers.
