Ajman is close enough to Dubai and offers much cheaper accommodation. All Dubai attractions are accessible from Ajman with an easy and relatively cheap taxi service. Remember Ajman is an emirate in its own right and has relaxed social rules but still people need to respect that this is an Islamic country and avoid creating situations where you may be seen to be a trouble maker.
