Two full days is plenty of time to explore Berat. The castle is worth a visit maybe a taxi up and walk down as its very steep. The two bridges are nice to walk over and the view at night is wonderful. A nice reasonable restaurant is Friendly House the restaurant is upstairs and looks out over the river.

Berat is definitely on of the cool city on my list.
Berat is definitely on of the cool city on my list. It will be great to hire a tour guide for the explanation and exploration around the old castle area. Based on the local suggestion, every year, there is an event called epiphany on Jan 6. It will be super good if you can witness this wonderful event.

Was very underwhelmed by Berat.
Was very underwhelmed by Berat. One big building site and litter everywhere. View is alright but nothing special. Not much to do. Breakfast was included in the price and it was nice. We arrived during the night and disn’t have any difficultiues to check in, most importantly owner was such a nice person. He was not speaking English but yet we were able to comminucate with him. He was a great host with great attitude. I would choose the same hotel if I would go to Berat again.EmelPoland

The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff/owners are very friendly and professional. We liked it so much we decided to stay an extra day. Located within the Castle Berat walls, this hotel has amazing views of Berat - especially at night. Very comfortable bed and spacious, spa-like shower. We ate in the restaurant below and it was very good and the staff super nice. It was the best stay we had during our 2-week trip through the area!

The owners made sure that we had a free parking lot so no need to move with the car after you reach the hotel. They offered us cold juice when we arrived and prepared delicious homemade breakfasts on the balcony. We really felt like we were welcome there. The room and the bathroom are spacious and everything is extra clean. It's very close to the main promenade, maybe 5 minutes walk to centre of Berat full of restaurants and bars. We hope to come back next time we visit Albania and Berat, most beautyful town we have ever seen!
