BA is one pf the worlds great cities with wide strrets and extensive parkland which is used by its inhabitants. Good luck with the politics for the future this once wealthy city is showing some wear and tear but remains up there ith Paris Rome and Madrid

I live in La Plata so I come to Buenos Aires regularly for work and leisure, usually for a day but this time I came with a family member visting, we had two whole days in BA and found plenty to do.
It is fairly simple to get around Buenos Aires provided you can buy a Sube and know how to laod it with cash. This can be used on the Subte (subway), trains and buses with minimal fuss.

It's massive so make sure you have enough time to see/do a lot of it, I didn't but I hope to return soon. It feels safe and ubers are cheap and easy to get. A great place for people who like big cities as from what I've seen it has some similar vibes to New York.

Buenos Aires it is a spectacular city to visit.
Buenos Aires it is a spectacular city to visit. You should be careful at night, but it is pretty safe depending on where you stay. There are plenty of restaurants and shows and people is very helpful and attentive. To shop is great but now a bit expensive, try to ask on different places before buying. Anyway, a great place to visit, very nice. Florida Garden a very good restaurant and not expensive, (Ariel at the terrace was wonderful) its situated in "Florida" Street at downtown Buenos Aires (they call it "microcentro"), Puerto Madero is amazing, "Cabana Las Lilas" is an excellent restaurant, good value for the price.

Although there are not many outstanding tourist attractions, Buenos Aires is an enjoyable city in itself. Especially in the San Telmo area, just being here on the weekends is a pleasure. In the end, I stayed here for 5 nights.

Big city with lots to see.
Big city with lots to see. Could have stayed longer with so much to see, but I was already booked on a cruise, so it was long enough for me. Really enjoyed my time there overall. Glad I was able to spend a few days there prior to my cruise. Traffic can be congested especially from airport to downtown. Didn't get to tour inside theatre since no openings same day so may want to book ahead if possible.
The hotel is excellent and very well located. This is an excellent choice to visit Buenos aires. The room was wide, clean and well equipped. The location is excellent. The breakfast is good and variated. Those are things it has in common with other 4.5-5 start hotels. There is however a plus in this hotel that should be highlighted: The staff service. I felt that every employed in the Hotel, either in the reception, parking, Gym, Pool, restaurant, etc do their best to make you feel confortable. I will comeback, no doubt about that !
Bed & room were very comfortable and lobby was very comfortable with a selection of food and drink available at all times. Security was excellent & it’s an easy walk to Palermo Soho, many excellent restaurants and Plaza Italia. The staff were outstanding - friendly, helpful and happy to make arrangements for us, including currency exchange delivered to the hotel after hours and a very early taxi pickup to the airport. Highly recommend Shoshana. Thank you Ezekial & team!
The location of the apartment seemed ideal to me. It is very close to all the attractions of Recoleta and Palermo. Walking the streets surrounding the building is an activity in itself as they are full of life and fun.
The apartment is comfortable and nice. I found the relationship between price and quality to be excellent since I noticed that my well-being and comfort was sought at all times.
I loved the spacious and comfy private balcony - I would have spent more time there if I wasn't so eager to go out and explore Buenos Aires all day long. The location was excellent; close to multiple bus lines and of course in the super-fun, super-walkable Palermo district. Yamila or an employee was always on the premises and they were extremely helpful. Kitchen was tiny but amazing.
The decore and attention to detail, it is a botique hotel with lots of personality and character. The sitting library is stunning, beds where very comfortable and rooms where spaciouse. Staff where fantastic and helpful. You really feel spoilt and looked after, There is always security and someone to help 24hrs should you need advice or assistance. The best saty we had in Buenos Aires.
Great location! Close to a subway station and within walking distance of the Recoleta Cemetery. Neighbourhood was fairly quiet, but lots of restaurants/ cafes close by and it had a nice feeling. Room was comfortable and the hotel was stylish - sort of an industrial/ artistic vibe. Good value for Buenos Aires. We stayed 5 nights and it was an awesome base for exploring the city.
The best attribute of this hotel is its location. My wife and I could walk anywhere within the Palermo neighborhood. The yellow hop on/off bus has a stop, 2min from the hotel which was super convinient. Breakfast was a plaisant surprise buffet style with lots of pastries, fruits, eggs and coffee. The staff was amazing! Super helpful and gave plenty of tips and recommendations.
The service was excellent and I found the location to be central as I walked to the different areas of Buenos Aires from this hotel. I did not have breakfast at the hotel bu there were many cafes nearby where you could get breakfast. They also helped organise a taxi to the airport for me. I would definitely stay here again.
Good location for a first-timer in BA, especially if you want to explore beyond the comforts of Recoleta and Palermo. Great rooftop bar for kicking back at night. Entire staff was excellent. Didn’t get everyone’s name, but Laura and Mao (sp?) in the bar and Jessie at the front desk were particularly kind and helpful.
Any location in Buenos Aires is good. Location of this hotel is OK but nothing to write home about. Walking distance to most places including city centre. Taxis are very cheap so you can get to most places of the city for minimal cost. Best shower of any hotel we have stayed at. Amenities very limited.
Roberto on reception could not have been more helpful. As it was our first visit to Argentina he explained everything we needed to know from sights to visit, to currency exchange. Hotel had everything we needed and was perfectly located in San Telmo to experience cultural elements of Buenos Aires.
Casa Joseph is in a great location in Palermo. The rooms are very spacious, modern, clean and with wonderful big windows. One of the best places were stayed in in Argentina. Gabrielle at reception was the perfect host, very friendly and helpful, and made our stay. Thank you Gabrielle.
The property was in an excellent location, perfect as a home base for exploring Buenos Aires on foot. Palermo was lovely! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, providing suggestions and support and easily switching to English to make it easier for me to communicate.
Breakfast is fine. The location is perfect if you want to stay in Palermo, right in the middle of the neighborhood. The rooms have great beds. It was one my best nights during my 17-day trip in Argentina, though it's not super quiet, since the rooms face the street.
Location is great. Walking distance from lots of restaurants and bars. Room was nice and clean. It's a small hotel that worked really well for spending a long weekend with my family in Buenos Aires, in which we mostly walked around Palermo.
We loved Recoleta Grand!!! super clean, modern, great location and all the staff was very kind and always helped us in whatever we need. If we go back to Buenos Aires, we would stay again in Recoleta Grand!!
Best hotel in Buenos aires. Great place, great cleaningness standards. Very different and very superior to most hotels in BA. Notable superior to any hotel in the area.
