There is a HUGE choice of museums.
There is a HUGE choice of museums. There are city sightseeing tours which are very informative. There is a large number of churches to visit, and many venues such as the State Operahouse where you can attend concerts. Music is very big in Vienna, and make sure to attend a concert while you visit. Cruises on the river Danube operate regularly. We went to Bratislava for a day. There is the expected wide range of eateries to be found in a capital city.

Vienna is an amazing destination.
Vienna is an amazing destination. It's a mix of modern and old where you can go crazy and visit museums, palaces and churches or just take things easy in a park or in a cafè. It was much less expensive than I expected and we ate really well with generous servings at very affordable prices.
Definitely worth visiting and spending time getting to know it better!

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! Great to just wander through some parks or to appreciate the architecture of the city. It felt like we were in a piece of art. The people were nice and the city did not feel crowded or hectic. Public transport works good and the short journey you have to make by foot, are nice possibilities to get a feel for the city. Many cafes and restaurants, we did not need reservations once.

We took out teens to the maze at Schonbrunn which was fabulous.
Freud museum was expensive and poorly done . It could have been so much better with a bit of imagination and a tiny budget.
We ate at Allegro in https://www.allegrowien.com/ and it was delicious. Some of best pizza we have ever had including in Naples
Very clean, modern and minimalist in a pleasant way. Bathroom very nice. Staff professional but also friendly and helpful.
Check in was at 2, but staff were helpful and willing to check you in earlier if rooms were available. If not, secure bag area was available.
This hotel was really pleasant and a great place to stay in Vienna for a fair price. Great location just outside of Wien Hbf (5 minutes from train platform to room), with a tram stop that takes you directly into the city centre.
The rooms were clean and comfortable
The hotel bar was equally perfect for a morning coffee before setting off, or for an evening drink after a long day of work or exploring.
The location was even better than imagined - it's basically across the street from the Vienna main train station, but the D-tram can bring you to the city center in under ten minutes. Or, you can just walk the ~30 minute route, which takes you past the Belvedere and Karlskirche.
Very good location for access to local and regional bus and train and only 15 minutes on train to Vienna AirPort for only 4 euros each. Pleasant 15 minutes walk to main visitor sights / city centre. Good local restaurants and bars around hotel. Usual Motel One style rooms- compact but everything you need for a short break. Very comfortable and spotless inside. Helpful and friendly staff. Very competitive price. Would certainly use it again.
Smooth check-in, friendly reception staff. Single room was small but very clean and had good ensuite facilities. A very suitable room for a solo traveller like me. Although a small boutique hotel, it still had elevator access to the floors and breakfast facilities. Location is in a quiet area about a 45 minute walk from the City Centre or 11 mins by no.2 or no.43 Bus/Tram. I found this hotel to be excellent value for money for Vienna.
City Pension felt like a 5 star hotel for the price of one. Location is unbeatable. Extremely clean, well maintained and very, very helpful staff. It shows how much the family that runs this hotel cares about their guests. At City Pension you are in the middle of the action. Stayed there for New Years, and it was the best choice I made during my visit to Vienna. Overall, if I could give 10 stars I would!
Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The train to get to the airport is barely 3 minutes walk away, and gets you there in about 25 mins. Tram stop to get to city centre is just 2 mins walk from hotel, and the Belvedere Palace is a short walk away. Ideal for our short break in Vienna as we didn't have to spend much time on public transport - and the hotel was very comfortable.
Very clean and calm small hotel, no luxury but really functional and good value for money. Comfortable beds and enough storage space. Room was cleaned each day which was great. Staff was helpful. The hotel is right off the main shopping street of Vienna, the museums quarter and Naschmarkt - the main city market, within a walking distance from the old city centre.
Strongly recommend to all travelers. Hotel is at perfect location with metro station just in front of it and with only 10 min walk from the city center. All the staff were very pleasant and professional as well as helpful whenever needed. Rooms are comfy and clean. Great option for stay in Vienna and we will definitely visit it again when go there next time.
We loved everything about this hotel - great design, cozy atmosphere, very good food and kind staff. The rooms are spacious, very clean and well designed. The location is one of the best we stayed so far - quiet, close to the historic city centre and to the beautiful and animated Museums Quartier. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Vienna again!
We loved the interior, the vibe, and the whole idea of making a jazz themed hotel in the heart of Vienna!
The whole team was very friendly and helpful, thanks a lot for making our 3 nights in Austria unforgettable!
Wifi was great, the room was clean, we had a coffee machine and a kettle. And we also had an opportunity to listen to recordings in our room.
Brand new hotel. Everything is clean and the interior was cheerful. It is well situated - close to city centre and all transportation. The personnel was very qualified, efficient, polite and helpful. The breakfast banquet was delicious. There was so much and such a good choice of food! Thank you for making my stay in Vienna so wonderful!
Hotel is positioned really well for the city centre. Self check-in ran very smoothly and is great for late arrivals. Room was very comfortable and whole apartment was really clean. We didn't see any staff but know they were there as our room was made up. I would stay here again if I have a return trip to Vienna.
This is my first time in Vienna and I enjoyed my stay at VOCO, the hotel is in a good location (Airport/Subway).
On our first night, we had dinner in the hotel and the food was great.
Thanks to the staff namely Abdulmalik, Zohra, and Rodrigo, they were all very nice and welcoming.
A nice hotel located a bit outside the city centre but close to the metro, so easy to travel around Vienna. The hotel is close to Danube and a park, perfect for morning runs. Sound isolation is great, no noise. The room was very clean and spacious. We have enjoyed our weekend there.
The hotel itself is quite simple, just for sleeping really. Although far from Vienna's city centre, the location is good and near a subway stop (Gasometer), just a 3min walk. The staff was nice at check-in and there were a lot of flyers about Vienna which came in handy.
Leonardo Hotel in Vienna is big professional hotel, almost business trip feel-alike. The time of check out is very convenient (11-12). Also the location of the hotel is great, it s not only close to train/bus station but close to belvedere and city centre.
The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in inside Europe. The room was very clean and bright. There are 2 grocery stores right by the hotel and an excellent traditional Vienna coffee house. Just a short walk down to the city center.
Good location.Very close to the city center and 50 meters to the underground station Comfortable and clean room.Probably We'll be stay again in this hotel for our next stay in Vienna.
Location has good connection with city centre and airport by different means of transport. Hotel is new and very clean. The breakfast was great value for money.
The location of the Hotel is good: close to the city center of Vienna
The bathroom was good: probably the best feature of the room
The room was well heated
