Great hosts. Phil was very informative, witty, and gave great advice on places to go. The view out my window to Mont Blanc and the glacier was unforgettable. Good vibe as a solo traveler, and it's a spot where you can meet ski/ride buddies to explore with.

This bed and breakfast is located in the valley of Chamonix Mont-Blanc. Its rooms overlook the Mont-Blanc massif, and the highest cable-car in Europe, the Aiguille du Midi. Rooms at Chalet Les Frenes have free Wi-Fi internet access and a balcony. All rooms have a shared bathroom. Guests are invited to relax in Chalet Les Frenes’s garden or on the terrace. Guests can use the hotel's bicycles free of charge. Breakfast is served daily and clean bed and bath linen are also supplied, both services are included in the room rates.     “I felt like home. Is a cute and comfy chalet in Chamonix. You can have a great breakfast before your city tour or skying. The house is not so close to the center os the city but it has a bus stop in the front os the house, so it’s easy to get there!”

Chalet Les Frênes is a Bed and Breakfast in Chamonix offering budget accommodation for your summer holiday or winter ski break. This traditional Alpine chalet is set in the hamlet of Les Bossons in the Chamonix Valley. There are 2 twins and a triple on the ground floor which share 2 shower rooms with WC. On the first floor there are a twin and a double which share a shower room and a WC. There's free wifi, free bike hire, we provide free linen and towels. Les Bossons is conveniently situated halfway between the ski ares of Chamonix (4kms) and Les Houches (3kms). Chamonix town is 4kms away - 5 mins in a car, 12 mins on bicycle and a 40 minute walk. There's ample parking if you arrive by car, if not, there is a bus stop directly outside the chalet and Taconnaz train station is a 5 minute walk away There's a huge garden where you can relax in the Summer and a terrace with table and chairs where you can enjoy a sun soaked picnic.
The chalet is located in quiet hamlet of Les Bossons, 4km from the centre of Chamonix, halfway between the ski ares of Les Houches and Brévent. Les Bossons is a quiet area in the bottom of the valley so there is no access problems with vehicles in the winter. Chalet has huge gardens and epic view of the Mont Blanc massif.
