We booked and paid for the hot tub and didn’t even use it as as soon as we checked in we leave and tried to find a better hotel
I also asked for champagne and sweets on arrival as you are not aloud to bring your own drink and we didn’t revive any thing

Went mid-week over Valentines for 2 nights.
Went mid-week over Valentines for 2 nights. The towpath walk from the hotel (Waterfoot Hotel) to the Peace Bridge and town at around 45 mins was lovely (it was a dry morning) as was the bridge itself.
Loved Sandino's quirky cuban themed bar and also the Taphouse bar near the Guildhall (Music/Singer in the Taphouse from 9pm was great on a Thursday night).
Sooty Olive restaurant (Waterside) then Silver Street bar/restaurant (main town) are both good food places to have dinner & drinks - Silver Street being more economical. City Walls a great experience also.

Go in shoulder or peak season. Winter is too cold and bleak.

It is an interesting town between the walls. You must walk the walls, much info is to be found about Derry here.
The Guildhall has exquisite Stained glass windows and an enormous organ. Quite amazing really.
Londonderry/Derry's history is confronting and not so long ago there was much strife here and it is still in evidence.
Generally the food is excellent, loved it.

Quiet place to stay and plenty of friendly people about.
Quiet place to stay and plenty of friendly people about. Good places to eat but not many open on a Monday night. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Well appointed kitchen.
Suggest a walk around the old town walls.

I would normally stay in hotels as I don't really like B&B 's because you are in people's houses & are worried about making noise etc, but with this Garden Room you are out on your own not having to bother anyone. My daughter & I had a great stay , location good not too far from city centre, taxi only £4, which we only used at night to go into centre fof a drink.
Had an excellent meal @ Fitzroys Restaurant, would definitely recommend.., although book in advance before you go.
the staff were exceptional. I arrived at the hotel @ 11 am and had laundry I was hoping they could take. It was a Saturday (I had forgotten) and a bank holiday. However, the front desk took it and walked it to the laundry and I got it back at the end of the day. They did everything they could to make sure you had a nice stay. The beds were comfortable and the restaurant excellent. It was also in the heart of Derry, so close to all the sights. I loved it here.
I liked the beds they are extremely comfortable. One reason why we stayed there (from feedback) The room was very spacious especially in a city centre hotel. The historic city walls were outside the dining room window. The food is nice. Lots of different types of pillow choices i.e. flat and full. Receptionist that checked us in was particularly nice, efficient, friendly and informative. Check in and out options online.
The hotel is in a great location and the rooms were comfortable and clean. A family member left a valuable item in the room after check-out. The hotel manager contacted us quickly and went out of her way to mail the item to another location for us to retrieve later in the trip. A big thank you for the professional way the staff handled this situation!
The room was very nice and when we asked staff for a good restaurant, they recommended The Kesh, where we ended up going twice. They also gave us our own fridge when we asked for some space in theirs and warmed up some food for us. Close to border with Ireland. Wild Ireland park, Londonderry and Glenveagh National Park easily accessible.
This was a great place to stay, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. Location is perfect, there's no parking in the hotel but you use the shopping centre for £10 a day. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. A bit noisy at night but its in the city centre. Right beside the walls and shopping.
Very friendly and helpful male receptionist. Comfortable quiet room. Buffet breakfast was OK nothing amazing. Staff very nice with prompt service. Within few mins drive of city centre. Took taxi to and from local restaurant. Fantastic trad hotel bar with open fire for late drinks.
Very nice place to stay. Conveniently close to Londonderry.
Unfortunate timing for us that the field next to the property was just freshly laid with manure. Couldn't open windows to let in air. Staff was really quick to bring us fans though.
Beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for us, we were made to feel so welcome.
Lovely rooms, huge comfy bed, amazing views, short drive unto Londonderry, delicious food in the restaurant and at breakfast.
Everything… a beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, fabulously helpful staff, delicious food, lovely bar & restaurant, comfortable rooms & only a 5 min drive to the city centre … Will definitely be back again 😃👍👍
We enjoyed the visit to Derry. We were on a trip around the north coast of Ireland. The hotel was well located and suited our needs. We wish we had another day to enjoy. The hotel staff were excellent.
Staff were very friendly & accommodating, great location for our needs.
The bed in our room was very comfortable, one of the best nights sleep we’ve had at a hotel.
Very nice city centre hotel, they have made the best of dealing with the current situation. Breakfast felt very safe used disposable gloves when getting food items.
Best place ever awesome as usual .. no words can express the hospitality of Mrs Tonya and Shauna they are perfect in everything. I strongly recommend this Hotel .
The staff is absolutely amazing, always trying to help, so we’ll educated, smiling… I spend more than 189 days a year in nice hotels and this one is fantastic.
The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful and a pleasure to be with. The B&B is located within walking distance of many of Londonderry’s sights.
