We recently stayed at Park Plaza County Hall with my family, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home straight away. We stayed in the Executive Suite, which was spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable, perfect for a family. The suite was immaculately clean and well-equipped. The kids loved having the extra space, and we all appreciated the beautiful views of the city. The hotel’s location is ideal just a short walk from the London Eye, Southbank, and Waterloo station, making it easy to explore London’s best sights. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning with plenty of variety to satisfy both adults and kids. Every member of staff we encountered was professional, helpful, and genuinely kind. It made our stay extra special. Highly recommend for families looking for a stylish, convenient, and relaxing place to stay in central London. We’ll definitely be back!

Public transport is very good and accessible . Prices for food and beverages are more expensive than the rest of the country. Most attractions were busy but not excessively. Having been there a couple of times i just enjoyed wandering around the city at leisure.

London has been always my favourite place to visit.

London has been always my favourite place to visit. I can't list the things I like with London in limited words. Let me give a try: (not in order of preference) Architecture, buildings, history, restaurants and different cuisines, musicals, parks, sense of humor, shopping, pubs, salt beef in Selfridges, sandwich bars, London cabs, buses, walk by the river Thames, museums, Covent Garden, cathedrals and churches, China Town and more... Depending how much time you have and your taste, I would recommend you do some of the following: * See a London musical * Have a walk by the river Thames * Visit a museum and an English pub * Go to a Chinese or Indian restaurant if you like (best in Europe) * Visit Selfridges and have a salt beef sandwich while you are there * Have a London site seeing tour

London is a great place to visit.

London is a great place to visit. It's an original colonizer country so you have lots of interesting things to experience in the city itself (i.e. things the British have stolen from other places and brought back). People are pretty friendly compared to the rest of Europe. Once you've seen all the standard fare (Tower of London, Westminster, Big Ben, etc.) I recommend doing some things that are more off the beaten path. First, see a show at the Royal Albert Hall if you can. We were lucky and found a band playing that we really loved. The venue is a bargain for what you get. I highly recommend the Borough Market but only during off peak hours (which may not exist actually). You can take a train almost anywhere so I'd go see the seaside areas, check out the house boats, etc. I really dislike all the family-oriented tourist stuff like the London Eye, and the whole O2 center is just gross capitalist garbage. It's just a mall built around a concert arena--I wouldn't bother. One thing that many might not know about is the option to hire out a London Cab driver who can take you on a tour of the city. These guys know where everything is (because they have "The Knowledge") and can take you to spots that you probably couldn't get to on your own. If you can find a cab for hire definitely do it. The driver's are also incredible people--the most friendly you'll find anywhere.

Our party consisted of an all female group of 4; 2 seniors, an 11 yr old, and a middle-aged adult. Our favorite take-away from our London visit was Service. Every shop, attraction, and restaurant we visited provided above and beyond service. The city's service is exemplary for other major cities, they took food allergies very seriously, which was a nice relief for someone that may have a lot of food allergies. We stayed 5 nights in Kensington near Earl's Court and 1 night in Victoria. We walked a lot in Kensington, Victoria, a little bit in the City of London, and SOHO - we loved them all and can't wait to return to explore more of the city. We took bus, Metro, black Taxi, and private car. The Metro was clean and safe. I definitely recommend it as it is your cheapest and fastest option. The public bus are fun, especially if you get the front row on the second floor. Sit back and enjoy the city street views. The black Taxis are spacious and the drivers were very helpful and nice. These can get pricey so only use when you are carrying luggage. It is a very family friendly and safe city, although I will not return to the Big Ben area or Oxford Street. Too crowded and a pick pocket's dream corners. I was not impressed with Selfridges or Marks and Spencer but we did love Harrods - especially the biscuit cookies (they did not make it home for souvenirs). We flew into Heathrow airport and out of Gatwick airport. Gatwick is nicer but much further. We also took the Eurostar to Paris and back. The Eurostar ride was one of our favorite experiences of the trip. The food was great everywhere.

First time we stayed, we booked the cheapest and the smallest room with no window. That was a bit claustrophobic but worth the money. Second time we stayed I managed to secure an upgrade which was nice. Best thing about this hotel is location. Paddington is great to stay in as there are great food places near by, train goes straight to Heathrow Airport, train goes to all the great things you want to see in London and it's in 1 zone so cheap. I also felt safe in Paddington.

The property and its facilities were spotless. The property is conveniently situated to Guys Hospital and having a private apartment was germanr to my stay. Despite there being many apartments within the overall development it remained very quiet throughout my stay. I would use Marlin Apartments more often when in London if ( and in fairness in common with other hotels) dynamic pricing was not so evident I would have no hesitation in recommending Marlin Apartments.
