Budapest exceeded all expectations — a stunning city full of history, charm, and vibrant energy. From the majestic Parliament building to the relaxing thermal baths, every corner offered something unique. The public transportation was efficient and easy to navigate, making it simple to explore both Buda and Pest. The local cuisine was delicious, with plenty of cozy cafés and excellent restaurants to choose from. The people were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere felt both lively and safe. I spent 7 nights in Budapest and wish I could have stayed 2 or 3 more. I saw the majority of the things I wanted to see but would have like to have spent some time visiting the museums. It's a wonderful city, very walkable, which I loved. The subway was easy to figure out. It was cold 2 of the days but perfect weather the other 5 days (in April).
