I arrived after a long day travelling following a car breakdown. I originally intended to visit the Australian war memorial in Beer Sheva, but when I arrived, I was only looking for a quiet clean place and a cool drink. Mort the manager, although not having much English, was obliging and we used Google Translate effectively. After taking my bags to the room, I walked out and down the nearby mall and ate a very tasty Shawerna and drink. Although mine was a late booking, the location was central and the facility was very clean, and everyhting functioned. Well worth checking out.

very spacious room, very clean, extra bed, quiet spot, spacious bathroom, nice and helpful staff : two friendly brothers. interesting neighborhood for a stroll, nice cocktailbar with very sweet Russian boy opposite hotel. We had 2 very nice days in Beersheba. Don’t forget to pay a visit to the Beersheba War Cemetery! And of course you have to go to the museum, the town-market, the Turkish bridge ànd the beautiful park near the dry river, where you can spot Bedouins on camels. Beersheba was a surprise!

This is not a touristic city and people that want to explore the magics of the Israeli , should continue much more south on the road and look for accomodation in the smaller towns such as Arad or Dimona. There is no reason the spend any night in Be'erSheva. People might come here if they got some issues in the University or with that giant hospital , the largest in south Israel. For that kind of guests , Eshel hotel, is an excellent choice. It is as small , friendly and simple property in the middle of this boring city. The rooms are simple but very clean and functioning, the beds are comfortable and the shower always got hot water. The staff is friendly and helpful and I really like the balcony. There was no parking problems, though I came there late at night. Across the street there are three resturants , because this is Israel and you can not eat without being robbed , but the hotel is very economic , and I think it is the best option in this city.

This is a basic but comfortable hotel, with fully-equipped rooms and overall good value for money, considering Israeli standards. The location could not be better for exploring the old town, apart from the main sights, there are restaurants and bars nearby. Friendly and helpful staff.
