Greenery all around. A comfortable room. A large variety of well prepared breakfast, an extremely friendly staff, lovely music in the restaurant .. overall it was a memorable stay, which passed only too quickly. It is fairly easy to get to the place and there are quite a few great eating places in close vicinity in case one doesn't want to eat in the hotel restaurant.RubinaIndia - 10Scored 10

Assagao has a lovely sense of being on a hilltop.. the temperatures are a bit cooler as you ride into the area and it is sort of a Beverly Hills of Goa. It has some of the finest dining spaces and trendy boutiques. It is also located close to Anjuna which is a hub with its own flea market on Wednesdays. Places worth checking out are the Mustard Cafe which has the finest prawn curry I have had in a long time! Also Gunpowder restaurant had an excellent Kingfisher Fish curry. Gulabo is a boutique featuring pretwear by India's Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla - very high profile couturiers. If you are looking for an upscale, quiet place yet be close to all the major beaches in North Goa, you will want to choose Assagaon for your next holiday. The whole area is a green belt dotted with the prettiest homes, most of which are available for guest stays. The place has some great cafes and dining options. if you crave the nightlife then its s 20 min ride to Vagator or Baga. Eat at GunPowder or Ciao Bella but be warned you will need a scooter to get around. Cabs are not that easily available and you have to wait anywhere between 10-15 mins when you call for one.SharmishthaIndia
