One of the only hotels to be located directly on Portofino’s pretty little harbor, Albergo Nazionale offers lovely views and great service as well as spacious, comfortable rooms.

Albergo Nazionale is a beautiful hotel located in the center of the harbor! It is within walking distance of all shopping and dining experiences. The staff is extremely accomodating. The breakfast was delicious! We even enjoyed an afternoon glass of wine in their outdoor restaurant and enjoyed a cool, shady break from the crowds while being able to "people-watch" a short distance away.
Set right on the seafront in Portofino, Hotel Piccolo Portofino offers a private rocky beach with a bar. It is a historic villa that now features stylish designer interiors.
Eight Hotel Portofino is located 656 feet from Portofino center and the popular Piazzetta square. The elegant rooms have contemporary furniture and are decorated in warm colors with wooden floors.

The apartment was perfect. I can’t believe I found such a gem it’s literally in the middle of everything g in Portofino and when you go inside it super spacious and very clean. I’m so happy with my stay here. Also the host are super sweet and very helpful and communicative. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to travel to the beautiful Portofino!!

The staff and location were absolutely incredible. Such a gorgeous spot to lounge around and take in the view. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here and loved the food here way more than the food in town as it was made on site by the amazing chefs using home grown produce. The room was lovely with an incredible view of the water. The staff are all amazing to chat to and accommodating and I loved the pet cat Notte.

Portofino is just beautiful, we took so many photos during our stay and if you ever visit you will know why!
Apart from a couple of attractions, Castello Brown and the lighthouse there not much to do, but for a romantic weekend and gorgeous food and wine it is absolutely perfect!

A beautiful, natural harbour, adapted to suit visiting nautical travellers and a base for charter boats. A short climb to stunning views from a high elevation point and historic castle. Interesting shops and a small general store. Lots of dining choices - many on the waters edge. Most enjoyed early in the morning and later at night when there are less people.
Inadequate and expensive parking with no options elsewhere.
All in all - loved it!

Portofino was beautiful and lived up to expectations.
Portofino was beautiful and lived up to expectations. However, it is tiny and the weather was not great which limits what there is to do. Two nights rather than three would have been enough.
Also it really is expensive. Not a place to go if you are on a budget.
My husband and son had brilliant food - particularly DaV Mere - but they love fish and seafood. Not great for vegetarians.

We enjoyed walking and getting around but Portofino is really small so don't spend more than one night there. I was expecting more people to be around but it was really empty after the sunset. People come in boats to know the harbour but they don't stay around after so it's very quiet (at least in April when I went). There aren't that many options for good food but the restaurant "Trattoria Tripoli" was a highlight of our stay in Portofino. Probably the best Frutti di mare spaghetti I have had in my life!

Portofino had been on the bucket list for some time so the expectations were high.... and so they were met ! A very very nice little village on the cost with all typical medditerrainian stuf. 1 day should be enough to cover it as a small place. Can recommend to travel here off season as no crowds and safe to move around. The Restaurants might seem a bit expencive but then they are good !

It is the centre point of the road running down to the quayside, a beautiful view of the bay, with rich history and family feel. Natural home that flows to cook, live , sleep and dream portofino. You do not feel like a tourist here but as if you live.
Accommodation was very nice, very well appointed and nicely decorated. Spacious apartment, kitchen and outdoor terrace area.
The location was good, just a walk up the hill from the main area of Portofino.
Would be ideal for a longer stay.
