It has a bigger living space but the en-suite bathroom is smaller than the one above. The sofa can accommodate a third person although we advise this cosy space for a 2 person trip or a family of 3 (Crib available upon request). IMPORTANT NOTE: ON DEC 31st the check-in window is between 1pm and 2pm. NO CHECK-INS ALLOWED PAST 2pm ON THIS DAY.

I am Martina and my Mother is called Paola. We run these apartments as a pair; I do all the admin and my mother is the contact and host whilst you are staying with us. Having grown up in Florence, I have now taken some time to explore the world, and travel a lot for work as well as pleasure. Meeting new people and exploring different cultures fascinates me but I return home regularly for my "fix" of Florence food and culture. My Mother Paola has lived in Florence all her life and is very knowledgable about the city's history and crafts. In keeping with local traditions she makes her own fine linens and tapestries. We are very proud to call Florence home, and we would love to help you get to know this beautiful, vibrant city.

Generally speaking the southern part of the river is more characteristic and less touristy than the northern one, where the main cathedrals and museums are located. Santo Spirito and San Frediano have an organic mix of locals and foreigners that live in town. You will also find many delis, bakeries, boutiques, craftsman workshops and art studios. You will find it animated during the day with markets, passing tourists and students of all ages, Piazza Santo Spirito comes to life also in the evening with numerous bars, restaurants, ”trattorie” and cafès.
