The owner is super friendly. He gave me a free bike rental to check out the area. Room was comfortable .
If he offers to cook you dinner or breakfast (for an extra charge) I would highly recommend it! He is a great cook and always has the freshest fish. We had a good time talking about anime and Studio Ghibli.

This home is such a beautiful place to stay with a fantastic view of the Shimanto river. Our amazing host was patient to wait for us cyclists to arrive later in the evening, and also helped make a reservation for us at a nearby sushi restaurant which was also highly rated. Will definitely stay here again!
