Beoordeeld met 5 van de 5 sterren verry nice hotel Were guests at Summerside residence. We had a 3 person room [very large room]. Everything was very clean and nice shower and enough hot water. It was a very good extensive breakfast. The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful, even the suitcases were brought upstairs. Negombo was coming to the end of the tourist season (although one local told me it hadn't been busy this season and people only tended to stay a couple of days in Negombo). It's great for a chilled couple of days, there's not a whole lot close by but some great food options, both local and international cuisines. I borrowed a bicycle and did some of the sights (fish market, Dutch fort, temples and churches) but a day was more than enough unless you get a tuk tuk or taxi/tour bus to go further afield. The beach was nice, the ocean was pretty rough and I didn't swim out in the water, but if you book somewhere with a pool this is fine.Guest review byJayneyMQatar - 10.0

So nice to hear the waves from the room. We watched the best sun set from the beach a few steps from the room. Location is fab. The room was huge. Pool was lovely. Just need some umbrellas as there’s not much shade around the pool. In the morning there is shade on the grassy areas.
