Tagaytay is a beautiful city over lake Taal with a considerably colder climate than Manila. It has many restaurants with a stunning view over the lake and the volcano. The cross winds was a bit disappointing we were charged to go to Napa and on foot were not allowed to see the village which is the very reason we went there. For that reason we decided not to commute to the windmill expecting another cash grab I am told a large parking fee and then mandatory food purchase which seemed extreme for a budget traveler. The highway lacks Illumination/lightings, I feel unsafe and guarded while driving the whole time during night. Great view as usual but the roads are either rocky or under construction. Food prices vary but on prime spot expect it to be higher than normal (Typical tourist price). Not much place to venture during nighttime, making it kinda boring after 22:00 pm.Guest review byAbarca

Accessible to both private and public transport. The rooms are quite big with enough space for 2 sjngle beds and has access to each balcony. The beds were very comfy, toilet and shower is a bit narrow but not an issue. Generally we enjoyed our stay. I cant complain about the complimentary breakfast.
