Absolutely perfect location for a NYC getaway! Close to theaters, bars, and great restaurants. The Bird Land jazz club is an easy 10 minute walk, and wonderful for live music and great food. The hotel was well-staffed, had organized check-in/check-out, and spacious clean rooms (surprisingly large for midtown hotels - I've paid double for a room half the size at a "luxury" hotel nearby. Book here and you won't be disappointed.

The location is absolutely perfect if you need to be in the center. I was there for the Metropolitan opera, so it was perfect. It's a 5-minute walk to Central Park and Columbus circle. There are plenty of restaurants, although not many grocery stores if you prefer that option. You pay for the location, nothing else. the people at the reception were pleasant. The room was very clean, including the bathroom.

easy to use the subway stations and its cheap, just tap card for entry

walk the High Line, fantastic views and get to the other districts down town Central Park is close to the hotel and worth a visit
walk over Brooklyn Bridge!
we didn't bother with a show on Broadway, very expensive, the q's for tickets of the day were about 1-2 hours (half price but not guaranteed good seats)
the food!!good breakfast fast food ,bagels etc but expensive
evening food ,restaurants very expensive for what i would call average foodie found a noodle bar down 51st street which was like food court inside not obvious from the facade but very good and reasonably priced Tipping is expected (they say 20%! but we did 10%)even on drinks at the bar
happy hour good value in Irish bars

Enjoyed seeing all the landmarks I’d only seen in the movies or on tv. The subways were a challenge but we only got lost a couple of times. I have a wheelchair and a lot of the entrances and exits did not have an elevator. My son had to carry wheelchair up/down steps and I had to go very slowly holding on to handrail.

Plenty of things to do.
Plenty of things to do. Be prepared to have good walking shoes !
Take an itinerary before you go as there is so much to see & do.
Cannabis now legalised which we didn’t like as it smelt so strong when walking about.
We found some people were quite rude especially venues like cafes, coffee shops & the airport.
Hotel staff all pleasant though.

It is busting, live and a somewhat untidy city. It is a must if you have never been there, not so much for the sightseeing but for the life of the city itself.
The Museums all very good and worth visiting, shopping, the park, broadway and many more
I spent my 40th birthday at the Courtyard by Marriott in New York Manhattan/Central Park and I had the most amazing time from checking in with Gen, to Jamie's (I think that was his name) hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream at the lobby, after bracing the snowy weather, and finally to the check out experience with William. The shower was lovely ( the right amount of hot water plus pressure), and the location is alright, many restaurants nearby and about 10 minutes walk from Times Square
This hotel was surprisingly very good and the staff were all very pleasant, proficient and accommodating. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable and breakfast was really one of the best I've eaten at any hotel chain - fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, meat and cheeses, bagels, bread etc. Lobby is a nice space to hang out in with TV and a bar area with complimentary tea/coffee all day long if you like. Conveniently located in midtown near Times Square. Highly recommend Pestana Hotel CR7.
The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting Manhattan. The hotel is in fact located right next to the station stop (34 St-Herald Sq) and from 34 street, in about half an hour by metro you can reach both the north and south parts of the island. In Herald Square there is also a CityBike station and bicycles are very convenient for getting around in summer. Furthermore, numerous attractions can be reached within walking distance (Times Square, Empire State Building, etc.).
The location is an excellent place very close to Times Square and also many subway stations. Travel to various places within Manhattan was really easy, fast and cheaper with the $33 7 Days Subway pass. The breakfast is kinda good and it is a repeat of the same items almost every day. As the hotel hosts around 500 rooms, the breakfast crowd is really big and you will need to hit the queue before 6:30 AM, else it can take long time.
Safe and clean hotel in a safe location, excellent front desk and housekeeping service, and they got us connected with a great parking garage. Not exactly cheap (though we all know, nyc is an expensive city) and we had to walk a few blocks for the subway and the garage (but we all also know that nyc is pretty much a walking town), so no complaints and we will definitely stay here again.
My expectations were very low. This is by far the least expensive hotel available in New York City (at least a "regular" hotel - I knew there was a shared bathroom. It was clean and functional - and it was a regular toilet/bathroom - just not for my own private use. I was there for only a short night - and very pleased with what I got for my money.
SIXTY Soho was and always will be the best hotel to enjoy New York City & Manhattan - lots of cafes and restaurants around and easy access to Midtown, Brooklyn and Financial District. The Staff is exceptional from front desk to housekeeping - customer focus, friendly and supportive. we also will come back a third time 😍
Very nice hotel in a great location, just a few minutes walk from times square. We were also given complimentary cocktails when we checked in. Room was compact but very nice and a good view of the city. We also went to the rooftop bar which had delicious drinks and an amazing view of Manhattan
The hotel was beautiful and the rooms perfect. The beds were very comfy, the shower amazing, the room was spotless, and the views of the city from your window were nice too. Hotel staff was lovely. Very easy to walk to midtown for a broadway show. Perfect location in Manhattan.
The staff were friendly, but not overly so. It’s one of the cleanest hotels I’ve been in in New York City and yet the price was reasonable. The location was fantastic. I did pay the extra amount for the city view and that was a nice luxury. I highly recommend it.
Location of the hotel was great. One block from times square and around the corner from the theatre showing Lion King. Also close to most of the tourist attractions. A good midtown spot for the price you are paying. Decent size room for a Manhattan hotel.
The Bryant Park hotel is the great boutique hotel. 4star hotel, 5star staff, 5star location. In the heart of Manhattan and New York City. Best place for exploring all around. Amazing Bryant park, with all activities, vibrant place. Highly recommended.
Clean and spacious rooms, friendly and professional hotel staff. Nice 22nd floor terrace with a place to sit. Great location for Manhattan sightseeing - walking distance to Times Square, Empire State Building, MSG, Broadway theatres, 5th Avenue.
This is my second time staying at Arlo Midtown and it's just the best hotel! Staff are friendly and accommodating, rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and the value in New York City is unmatched. Location is extremely central for a quick trip.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, the service every day was perfect and the location just the best! I would reccomend this hotel to everyone that is looking for spending time in New York city and especially Manhattan
The location of the hotel is great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The size of our room was surprisingly large for New York City. The shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure.
Location is a short 2 minute walk away from the very heart of times square.
One of the more affordable options (for Manhattan prices) in the area, and the room size is decent for New York City.
The hotel was in the center of Times square and gives you a chance to experience the city life of New York City. All the street foods, souvenir stores are within walking distance.
The location is good. Very close to Times Square. Walking distance to subways and Midtown sights. It's a good spot to locate yourself in Manhattan for a weekend away in the city.
