Went for a short stopover to see the falls.
Went for a short stopover to see the falls. The Radisson was half the price of other options. Many bad reviews so I was expecting the worst, but it ended up being a very quiet and pleasant stay. Outdoor pool is not working but you can sit next to it, which is fine. Indoor pool is open and is large and clean. This place looks like it barely made it thru covid, and if it was purchased and renovated could be a truly 5-star property. But as is now, it's totally fine!

Beautiful island!
Beautiful island! Bike paths around the island, a beach with easy access from the highway. Easy access to Niagara Falls and Buffalo. Amusement park, Fun center and a “comic book” pizza/wings restaurant provides entertainment for families with young children. Everyone would enjoy Adrain’s and Say Cheese. Adults would like Dick & Jenny’s.

The hotel and the staff need work. Saw allot lack motivation toward job and guests. The young female life guard should have been sent on a break after her temper tantrum moment. That hotel CLEAN with a MOTIVATED STAFF plus fixing the issues..espically the easy fixes in the rooms would help...no toilet paper holder? Walk by a mirror in the room and a heavy mirror is falling. I use a cane..that was sent in to help book a room other hotels use that to book the rooms...I was put far away from everything? Views of the River and bridge from the bedroom. Hosts are great conversationalists with extensive knowledge of the local area. Bed was comfy... Jacuzzi tub was perfect after a day hiking in the cold weather. If you stay here- say hi from me!
