There are 3 single unit cabins that sleep up to 4 people. Newly revamped and upgraded with bedding, dishes, T.V's, and linens. We strive to make your stay memorable. Very laid back and private setting. Pet friendly with a surcharge. Live on property to be there when you need something, yet quiet and leave you to your stay.
We have loved Alaska since the early 80's during our first visit. Later we returned and Doug built his home. In 2005 he opened the cabins. They have been a great success and enjoyment. I use to work construction and now am retired. Terra is my daughter, Terra helps me run them.
We live just off the Parks Highway about 1 mile. We are located in a quiet friendly neighborhood. we have trails to walk with a view of the mountains as well. Plenty of friendly neighbors to meet if out for a stroll. No close direct neighbors can be seen from the property so we are private as well. Direction by navigation are "Copper Place, Healy Alaska" 2023 Road Construction Detour Directions From South Take the Parks Highway (Ak 3) to Healy mile marker 248. Once you pass the 3 Bears Grocery on the left, then it will be the 2nd road on your right Suntrana Rd. Go 1 block to stop sign (Coal St. and Suntana Rd.) continue towards the school and once in parking lot take immediate right to the drive through side with stop signs. Follow that around staying to the outer right of parking lot it will convert to pavement on a road at the side of the school. You will pass a playground on the right and there after take the gravel road to the left and we are first driveway on the left. Copper place with a sign that says Alaskan Spruce Cabins. Continue to cabins and locate the one with your name. 2023 Road Construction Detour Directions From North Take the Parks Highway (Ak 3) to Healy mile marker 250. Once you pass Rose’s Cafe on the right, then it will be the 1st road on your left Suntrana Rd just past the gas station. Go 1 block to stop sign (Coal St. and Suntana Rd.) continue towards the school and once in parking lot take immediate right to the drive through side with stop signs. Follow that around staying to the outer right of parking lot it will convert to pavement on a road at the side of the school.
